Fantastic stay
We visited Zafiro Bahia towards the end of August (2 adults and 2 children, aged 7 and 15).
Firstly, the location of the hotel is excellent. The hotel is right on the beach and you can walk to the sea within minutes of the hotel/pool area. The beach is perfect for families. The sea was really warm and full of fish which was great.
Regarding the hotel, the rooms were nice and air conditioning really good. The food at the buffet was decent enough but the a la carte restaurant (which overlooks the beach/sea) was fantastic (we ate there for lunch every day).
The hotel has a standard type of gym (an extra machine or twice would be nice) which was fine. There are about six pools in the hotel so you can try different ones each day. The water was warm and both the kids loved them all.
Lastly, all the of the staff, from those at reception, the waiters/waitresses, the entertainment team or the cleaners, were all extremely friendly and happy to help with any request.
We wouldn't normally visit the same hotel twice in a row but we're thinking about making an exception next year and bringing some extended family.
Would definitely recommend.

A nice hotel but the experience was tainted by the fact that one of the rooms had a very bad odor for some reasons that the cleaning staff could not removed. So one out of 3 beds was almost impossible to use.
Perfect stay
It is the perfect hotel where everyone is helping you. The food and drinks are good.
Night staff brilliant!
Kadar was brilliant at remembering drinks orders and being very attentive in evenings.

Great hotel
Lovely hotel with a great pool scene. Family friendly. Kids pool is heated. Rooms spacious and clean. Food is great and the à la cart lunch option really makes a good alternative to the main dining room.
