Lovely holiday
The Pure Salt Garonda is a lovely place for a holiday and definitely somewhere I’d come back to! It’s in the perfect location, amongst all the bars and restaurants, right on the beachfront with some gorgeous views!
There were a couple of minor issues which prevents me from giving it 5*, however these are easily rectifiable.
Firstly, the staff in the hotel are brilliant. Everyone I’d spoken to was very friendly, polite and offered to help throughout my stay! So that definitely left a positive impression!
Both pool areas are really nice places to be, although the main one does get busy. My personal favourite was the rooftop pool and bar, a really calm place to be and has some spectacular views along the coast.
Breakfast at the hotel was nice, plenty of choice and I found all of the options to be of good quality and noticed things were replenished regularly. The Salty restaurant is fantastic! Really lovely food and brilliant service! As was the food at the pool bar, so cannot fault that at all!
Check-in seemed a bit confusing, as I was taken to the first floor bar for a welcome drink, ordered it and after 30 minutes no drink appeared, so I queried this and the waiter said they can only do the welcome drinks on the rooftop bar, fair enough, so I went upstairs and ordered it there, which also took a while - however on the next day, people were having welcome drinks on the first floor bar? Not quite sure what’s going on there.
The Air Conditioning in my room was an issue, despite setting the system to the lowest temperature, the room didn’t fall below 23 degrees and felt very stuffy at times. It often felt like the bedsheets and my things in the wardrobe were a bit damp. The AC also left a really bad damp smell in the room when it was running (the smell went away when you turned it off) and there were a few, large patches on mould on the bedroom ceiling, so I imagine the AC needs a good cleaning, as when I moved the vent with my hand, it was as very slimy and left black residue on my hands. I reported these issues to reception and they provided a fan which did help somewhat.
Also the sliding wardrobe door, liked to come off of the runners a few times, thankfully I caught it and managed to slot it back in without any issues!
Minor issues aside though, this is a fabulous hotel, I loved the enclosed balcony area, which made for some lovely chilled afternoons!
I will definitely return!

Great hotel, really amazing experience.
My wife and me were the first time in Mallorca and we were so lucky to choose probable the best location and the best hotel in this part of the island. Pure Salt Garonda is really amazing hotel. Location, pool, spa and service are outstanding! Breakfast is fabolous too. All rooms have sea view and they are modern designed and supported by great services. They make up our room even twice per day!
We had a chance to see other hotels and locations as well, but this one is really the best. Beutiful beach in front of the hotel, sea view from the pool on terrace, roof pool too. This hotel is located next to Baleari 9 bus station so you are in front of the hotel for less then 30 minuta from airport. And this transport costs 5 eur! We will definitely reccomend this hotel to all our friends and relatives in Bosnia! All the best to PS Garonda team!
Disappointing
My friend and I booked a 3 day trip and chose this hotel. Whilst the location is fantastic, frankly there are plenty of other options . We will not be retuning. First, the customer service and general friendliness and respect was not ideal. We checked in and found staff members to have a peculiar attitude. Having been recently on a trip to Crete to stay in a 5* hotel, I was quite shocked at the comparison! We had no shower gel in our room for the whole 3 days - despite multiple requests. The cocktails were extremely poor. The second time we ordered cocktails at the pool they literally had 0 alcohol in them. There were no staff around to guide you or report things to. I spoke to the manager and said that I do not want to pay for the cocktails and his response was lacking - suggesting to me that ‘I should have mentioned it at the time’. Who says that!? I work in customer service and I would expect a manger to say, ‘I’m so sorry- of course we will take that off the bill’, or ‘how can we make it right?’ I do not like complaining and rarely do but a combination of issues were irritating. There was not enough water in the room. 1 small bottle for two people per day. It really is not acceptable in a 5* establishment. There were many other niggles but it’s not worth going in to. I would not recommend.
An excellent hotel with great, friendly service.
An excellent hotel in a beautiful location. We have stayed at this hotel many times and we will stay again. Service is very good, location is just what we want and the rooms are of a high standard. It is an adults only hotel, which is what we wanted. It is worth knowing that that the hotel is near the Mega Park German entertainment venue. When you are in the hotel, this is no problem at all. But when you are on this part of the Playa, there can be a few problems with large groups of noisy youths. It is something that the authorities are trying to address, just something to keep in mind if you are looking for total peace and quiet.

Great Stay!
Excellent experience with staff! Everyone was wonderful, but a special call out to Estefania, Jose and Marina! Also the guy who delivered the banana. Everyone was so sweet and kind. The food was delicious and the drinks were excellent!
