An amazing week
We have just returned from a lovely week at Tacande Portal, we can’t praise it highly enough, from check in to check out, everyone was so accommodating and nothing any trouble. Antonella and Alex always seemed to be working on reception when we needed help and they were so knowledgeable and helpful, great front of house people. Hakim on the pool bar what an asset, lovely guy, great smile. To all the staff many goals for making our stay so enjoyable. George and Susan

Friendly Hotel
Went for a weekend away at this hotel. Located in a residential area. 5 mins from a popular cove and beach with a bar. Arrived very early prior to check in which was not a problem completed check in proceedure just had to wait for room to be ready. The lady at reception was very helpful in advising about the local area and routes to get there. Returned to hotel about 1500 and were given keys to our room 1218. Large spacoius room clean and tidy good size bathroom and balcony which had a sea view. Kettle provided with gratis bottles of water crisps and biscuits.Rooms were serviced daily The grounds of the hotel were landscaped well with two pools on terraces, plenty of beds in each area. Nice pool bar with really friendly staff who were very attentive frequntly coming round to provide poolside service. Had sandwiches and frys from here which were very tasty. Good breakfast plenty of choice of hot and cold quality food. Nice to have two cooking stations one for omlettes, one for eggs so there was not the usual long hotel queue for a fried egg. The only thing to be aware of is that to get to the centre of Portal Nous for resturants and supermarket you have to climb a steep hill. There is a cliff path that does give you access to resturants and shops in the marina area avoiding a climb. We had late return flight and were able to book a courtersy room for shower and change prior to departure all free of charge. Check out was at 1200, hotel were very happy to allow us to use all the facilites throughout the day. Have to commend really helpful and friendly staff. Had a great time so would highly reccommend for a weekend away

Great spot for a lovely break
We stayed at Tacande in June, only for 3 nights at the end of a family holiday. Having stayed at the hotel previously I knew how good it was and that I wanted to return.
The value of the stay is amazing. The hotel is in a great spot, rooms are clean and modern, breakfast offering is good and the pool area is amazing! All of this for a fraction of some of the other hotels in the area.
Location is great. Easy walk to Portal Nous Marina and connections to other parts of the island via taxi. At the bottom of the road is Bendinat Beach which is a lovely spot with a great beach bar, would recommend a visit.
Staff also really take this hotel to the next level. They are all super friendly and attentive, willing to assist guests however needed. We had a slight problem with our first room (noisy neighbours upstairs), the ladies on reception were really helpful and even managed to find another room for us to move to, to prevent the problem occurring again, despite the hotel being very busy. Which was much appreciated from us both.
Having been to the hotel a few times, I would definitely recommend staying here on a visit to Portals!
