My husband and I have recently returned from a visit to Hipotels Mediterraneo in Sa Coma, Majorca. The resort is lovely little place to visit and it has a beautiful beach and warm clear sea. The hotel has a great location right on the beach and close to shops and a pharmacy. We'd booked a sea view room with half board. The room was nice enough and clean, the view was lovely. The food at breakfast and at dinner was very good with plenty of choice. We visited the snack bar by the pool and the food was also very good there, I'd recommend the spicy prawn salad which was delicious! The hotel bar served exceptionally good quality cocktails, which I would definitely recommend. Unfortunately for me I had an accident in the hotel, I was walking from the spa area towards the stairs and slipped on a big pool of water on the floor. My husband went to tell the reception staff and a maintenance man turned up and explained that the water was dripping from the plants they had watered. The following day I went back to reception to tell them that I was certain that I'd broken my toe, they were very nice and Bettina the PR lady offered me crutches or a wheelchair, or to pay my doctors bill. We were only there for four days and I really didn't want to waste a day dealing with doctors especially when there is very little that can be done for a broken toe! I spent the remainder of my holiday hobbling around the resort which was very frustrating. I must admit that I found it very bizarre that the hotel seemed far more concerned about not admitting any liability unless I could prove that I was injured. Regardless of injury the fact remains that there was a big puddle of water on the floor in a dimly lit area of the hotel, which caused me to have an accident. I returned to reception a second time to query whether there should have been an accident report or something (anything) that should have been done. It just seemed to be brushed off, no fruit plate to apologise, or anything at all. However, despite this very strange and frustrating experience I would still recommend this hotel, it has a fantastic location and the food and drinks and amenities are of a very good standard.
Hotel location, staff, food, room , location and entertainment were all absolutely amazing.
A real small hotel feel in a massive facility.
What a beautiful hotel! From the moment we arrived in the early hours of the morning, my husband and I were absolutely blown away. Check-in was quick and easy, and we were taken straight to the restaurant where a small buffet was waiting for us—exactly what we needed after our flight had been delayed.
We paid extra for a sea view, and it was worth every penny. Waking up to those stunning views each morning was a real highlight of our stay.
The breakfast and evening meals were excellent, with chefs cooking fresh dishes to order at every service. The food was varied, delicious, and there was always something to enjoy.
The animation team was fantastic, especially Robbix, who kept everyone entertained with his brilliant sense of humour. The waiters worked incredibly hard and clearly took great pride in what they do. In fact, every member of staff was friendly, welcoming, and went out of their way to make our stay memorable.
The drinks were reasonably priced for a hotel, and the location couldn’t have been better—just a two-minute walk to the beach.
Thank you, Hipotel Mediterráneo, for making our holiday so special. We had an amazing stay and would happily return!
Fantastic hotel clean friendly and nice food
There was no friendliness , no welcoming very little entertainment, the hotel is only in my opinion just a **** hotel, no kettle tea coffee facilities in the room , no toiletries, there is a hairdryer …hardly any information in reception on trips , buses, taxis etc, bare minimum information on the hotel about what goes on daily,no info in the room about how the hotel works eg; what times breakfast n dinner n bar openings n closing and trips and so on…which there is always info in every hotel room or boards around hotels we’ve been to …pool area is nice.. always full ! nice access to the beach but if you do get to the beach in the morning and planning on staying all day you will get charged n I got charged 37 euros !if you go after 2 ish you’ll most probably not pay🤞beach n sea are clean n sandy… there are a few bars about 15 mins walk down the road n a few places to eat, nothing exciting though…loads of gift shops everywhere ….the hotel does cater mainly for Germans very few other nationalities there… we went for 10 days, food in restaurant was ok, you could find something to eat all the time but again, not very interesting. The desserts were the best…it takes about an hour from the airport to hotel…over all we wouldn’t go back .. quiet a lot of money as well for what you get in my opinion
