The great news is that this is just one of a choice of four luxurious pools at the Costa Adeje Gran Hotel. Two of them are heated too, so even if you choose to holiday in the cooler months, you can still enjoy a swim in comfort. In fact comfort is the watchword for the Costa Adeje Gran Hotel.
Every care has been taken to ensure guests' total comfort at all times – from the majestic surroundings, to the thoughtfully decorated rooms to the attentive five star service: you'll certainly feel well looked after and indulged at the Costa Adeje Gran Hotel.
Spacious ensuite rooms have cool tiled floors, air conditioning and large patio doors leading out to a furnished private balcony. The decor features warm colours and soft tones, creating a calm and tranquil atmosphere. All rooms are also equipped with TV, telephone, minibar, safe (at a fee) and hairdryer. All rooms feature a walk-in shower, while Suites also include a bath. Tea and coffee making facilities are complimentary. If you want to maximise the luxury factor, why not opt for a sea view or pool view room, or book a larger Suite (all available at a supplement).

Great hotel but AI offering could be improved
Just back from a stay at the GF Gran Costa Adeje, and overall we had a really lovely experience. It’s a beautiful hotel, very well equipped, with wonderfully opulent surroundings.
The standard of cleanliness throughout the whole hotel is fantastic. Every area we visited was exceptionally clean, particularly the bathrooms, changing areas and public facilities. Nothing seemed to be overlooked.
All staff were helpful and friendly but a special mention has to go to the animation team. They work extremely hard and, in my experience, the entertainment programme is probably one of the best I’ve experienced in any hotel. There was a great range of activities and the team really put a lot of effort into making sure guests were entertained.
My main criticism, and the area I feel the hotel could really improve, is the all-inclusive offering. Having previously stayed at hotels where all-inclusive genuinely meant everything on the menu was included, I found the GF Gran Costa Adeje quite restrictive. For example, you might be able to order a ham and cheese sandwich, but not a chicken sandwich, despite it being on the menu. The same applies to some of the cocktails and other drinks. It felt disappointing to pay for an all-inclusive package but then only be able to choose from part of what is available.
Perhaps the hotel could consider introducing different levels, such as an All-Inclusive and an All-Inclusive Plus package, so guests can choose exactly what suits them. As it stands, this aspect would make me think twice about returning, which is a shame because otherwise the hotel has so much going for it.
I also felt the pool towel system could be more flexible. The towels are only available from 10am to 6pm, and you have to hand in your card to receive one and then return it afterwards. I would much prefer towels to be available earlier and for guests to be able to return them later, perhaps through a simple self-service system when staff aren’t available.
Other than those points, we really enjoyed our stay. It’s a beautiful hotel in a great location, with shops, bars and other amenities conveniently nearby.
Overall, the GF Gran Costa Adeje is a fantastic hotel that is only missing a trick with the flexibility of its all-inclusive offering. With a few changes in this area, I think it could make an already excellent experience even better.

Great hotel- Claudia is amazing
Last day here today. Been here several times but 1st time after the refurb. Room 517 superb with a great view. All the staff and cleaners so smiley. You have to go all inclusive for the full benefits. Special mention goes to Claudia in the pool restaurant. She is in charge and coordinates her staff very well in a friendly manner. I manage around 600 staff so I know what it takes, it’s not easy. She needs retaining at all costs. Entertainment was amazing apart from the magic show- so many people complaining. The one grip I have is that the all inclusive bubble in the pool-side bar is terrible- stale bread in the sandwiches etc- never was like that before. Overall- it’s the hotel to go to. We will be back

Attentiveness at its highest
Hotel, staff was amazing! We ate at Aguita food and drink restaurant everyday and Claudia couldn’t do enough for us. Her professionalism was 100/10! She was attentive, smiled a lot and was kind.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. Everything was clean, comfortable, and welcoming, and the atmosphere made us feel right at home.
A special mention must go to Claudia from Aguita food and drink who was absolutely fantastic. She was warm, friendly, attentive, and always greeted us with a genuine smile. Her kindness and excellent service really made a difference to our stay. Claudia went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed.
It’s not often that you come across someone who makes you feel so welcome, and Claudia is a real credit to the hotel. Her positive attitude and professionalism made our experience even more special.

Best waitress ever
We had a brilliant experience at GF Costa Adeje during our holiday. Very impressed about the prompt, professional and friendly staff approach. A big thank you to Claudia that looked after us at Aguida bar near the pool .She went above and beyond with her warm and friendly attitude to offer the best dinning experience ever.
