Princess Inspire Tenerife

An excellent experience of Princess Inspire. Me and my partner stayed here in September 2026 for a week on All Inclusive.

Upon arrival it is a very grand hotel, our room was not available as it was only 12pm but we were able to leave our luggage and go get a drink at one of the bars.

Upon check in, we were given a room with two single beds pushed together, and we wanted a double. I didn't realise this had to be specifically requested, so I went back to reception to ask if there was a double room available, the lovely receptionist managed to sort us one but not available until the next day, not a problem for one night. She asked us to come back in the morning after breakfast and even showed us the room before to check it was okay and had our luggage moved for us.

The hotel from the photos, has lots of steps there's no hiding this, but has lifts for access on every floor so you can make a choice if possible. You are given a map on check in, it took us a bit to remember all the information, I would absolutely recommend downloading the hotel app before getting there, it gives you time to become familiar with the layout and times.

Onto the app, excellent every hotel should do this! Book the sunbeds the day before, easy to do and if you don't have the app, there are large screens in the hotel for you to use to do that.

We were all inclusive and your wristband is also your room key, it is also used to scan at lunch, dinner and any snacks/drinks at the bar. If you purchase something that is not included in the AI, you are told and then ask if you want to pay now or add it to your room tab.

3 pools, 2 at the top of the big steps are quieter, pool down by the restaurant has some activities (aqua gym, water volleyball) during the day and some music but still relaxing.

Food and drinks As the hotel also caters for half board, full board, all drinks are served by the bar staff, never a queue of more than 1 person for this during the day, and of an evening it is table service. All staff friendly and happy to help with any questions. My personal preference would eh fanta/coke however they serve pepsi/schweppes for soft drinks.

Snack bar was at the top of the steps, serving things like pizza, toasties, burgers, we didn't use this much as the breakfast was filling but did see a few ordering and it looked reasonable for what a toastie is. They also do ice creams like cornettos and ice cream tubs.

Food in the restaurant was lovely, always two sets of fresh meat being cooked or cut, pastas, pizzas, fish, salads. Would be something for everyone, it's table service in the restaurant (the food market) for drinks and being seated. We didn't eat in The One restaurant (you get one free evening in there if staying for a week but my partner is fussy with food and didn't like the menu so we stayed with The Food Market)

Desserts were okay, ice cream was good and always a new flavour each night to go with the chocolate, vanilla and strawberry. Some of the flavours were caramel, coconut, rum and raisin. They had a chocolate fountain a few nights with assorted items to dip in, and the usual mousse cakes but they aren't for me. Tip - there was a rice pudding a few nights, use the microwave by the bread!

Entertainment was good, mixed and set up down by the pool. As we like to go out of an evening, we only caught an hour or so of it, mixture of singers we seen and was pleasant but not something we really look for.

My literal only downside of this hotel is as the sunbeds are bookable which I think is genius, the umbrellas are numbered and cannot be moved. In previous Princess hotels, the umbrellas are on wheels which makes it very easy to have shade when you want it, by the afternoon I found it difficult having to move the bed into the shade without encroaching on another person. However if the umbrellas could be moved they could end up being mixed up with other beds.

After the first day, we were able to work out based on the sun and location of loungers which beds were more suited to it to have some afternoon shade.

Room - great decor, even the corridors are carpeted, very little noise could be heard in our room. The balcony was quite narrow as we were in a corner room, but we don't use the balcony much especially as it was street view. If you like to sit on the balcony, I would advise having a pool view room, house keeping was lovely we didn't ask for it everyday as it's just not needed but when the room was cleaned everything was lovely for us returning.

This was our first time to Tenerife, found it more hilly than I expected, and if you're not into drinking there's not a lot to do of an evening if you have eaten at the hotel.

Really great hotel, not sure we would be back but that's not due to the hotel, more Tenerife and lack of activities for young couples that doesn't involve bars or smoking (this was a problem walking around)

We visited as a couple in September 2026 and had another excellent stay – our third time at the hotel and just as good as the previous visits. The hotel itself is always clean and tidy, and the staff are excellent and really helpful. Special mention goes to the bar staff in the evenings – they work hard to make sure everyone gets their drinks promptly and are always friendly and efficient. The food in the main restaurant was excellent, and we particularly enjoyed the different themed nights. We also ate one evening in the à la carte restaurant, which was outstanding – a great choice of dishes, beautifully presented. Breakfast every morning in the Esencia area was another highlight; the food was very good and the atmosphere was lovely and quiet. As always, the sunbed booking system is one of the best things about the hotel. It makes the mornings so much more relaxed and stress-free. We’ll definitely be booking again for next summer.
