Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
Currently staying at this hotel and the sunbed situation is a joke , never stayed at a hotel this bad before . Pool area opens at 8:30 ,8:31 not 1 bed left . Towels put on beds then left for hours until the life guard rocks up at 10:30 to start taking towels off . No where near enough beds for the hotel. Staff are not interested pool is dirty would definitely not recommend this hotel . I have 2 kids who can’t get near the pool to enjoy it not what you expect when you take your kids on holiday .
Hotel is lovely on 1st inspection, once having a closer look the place needs a bit of a refresh, beds are terrible, sore back for a fortnight. Fan in livingroom didnt work for about 4 days of our trip, we did report it repeatedly as it was stifling in tenerfie the last 2 weeks. Reception staff are a bit short with people especially if you have an issue, our safe didnt work, our ceiling fan packed in, the bathroom floor was warped as was area of the hallway outside the bathroom. The hotel is a bit out the way and although we knew this I think it was too far for my liking and even if it was getting 5 stars here this would make it a hard no for the future. Bar staff lovely, animation guy Carlo done what he could with very limited resources. Nice 2 weeks but wont be back.
Just got back after a 12-night stay and overall had a really enjoyable time.
The poolside food was decent, and the one meal I had in the restaurant was very good and reasonably priced. Carlos, who did the entertainment, was brilliant — very funny and great at getting everyone involved.
The walk to the beach takes around 25 minutes. The hill back up is hard work, but taxis are reasonably priced if you don’t fancy the walk.
The only downside for me was that the drinks at the hotel bar felt a bit expensive. I probably would have come back to the hotel earlier on some nights if the drinks had been closer to the prices in the nearby bars.
The shop is well stocked, and the bakery serves some really nice food.
Overall, a good stay and I’d definitely consider coming back.
The hotel was clean just what you need for your holiday, entertainment of a day round the pool etc with carlos was great. Did not stay in the hotel of a night but there are shows of a night time however it did seem to finish early. Carlos made sure everyone was involved in the day time activities. Some of the reception staff was not very accommodating quite rude and dismissive. Location was okay but not the best for people with mobility issues as the hotel is around a 10/15 minute walk down to all bars/restaurants.
Great stay, apartments all clean and tidy. Pool and facilities great. All the staff were very friendly and helpful especially Carlo the funny man. Entertainment was also very good and the whole family enjoyed it.
