A great hotel. Beautifully refurbished and clean. Superb breakfast, wifi, pool and sunbeds and really attentive staff.

Amazing!
We had an amazing stay at the Salmar Hotel and honestly couldn’t fault it. The hotel is absolutely gorgeous with beautiful decor throughout and the rooms were stunning. We stayed on the 9th floor and had a fabulous view overlooking the water. It genuinely felt like being on a cruise ship. The hotel was so quiet and relaxing which made it perfect for a proper rest and recharge.
There’s a lovely little village right beside the hotel with loads of gorgeous restaurants and a few quieter pubs. We rented a car and it was only around a 15 to 20 minute drive to the livelier areas. It was so nice being able to enjoy those places and then come back to such a peaceful hotel.
The staff were so friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The food and drinks were delicious and breakfast had lots of options. We absolutely loved our stay and would definitely recommend the Salmar Hotel.

"First Class"
Having stayed in this hotel under three different names over the years, we have noticed the improvements overtime, however having just got back from a 7 day stay I can confidently say that it has now gone to the next level. It still maintains the prime location by the sea, but it has had a total refurbishment, but added some real nice touches, on arrival and going to the lifts, steps have been taken away so this makes it really easy to transport your luggage, they have put a ship theme right through the hotel even down to the curtains having a ship logo on them (classy) the terrace area is lovely to have a drink on or sit out for an early evening snack, the rooms with extended balconies are really fabulous, the addition of a games room with tv's in there is really smart (hopefully English language option, as with the tv's in the rooms will follow in time) the breakfast options are simply outstanding, and we can not finish this review without congratulating all the staff, they are the same wonderful people as previous, and I could name many but it would not be fair as I am sure i would miss someone out and that would be wrong they really are so polite and helpfull, but i would like to give praise to people who probably go unnoticed by some guests and that is the cleaning staff, they are all brilliant but a lady called Darota who has cleaned our rooms over the years, and again this time, she is so delightful in every way, does not speak a great deal of English nor do we Spanish but she conveys a conversation through her charm and personality, so muchas gracias Dorota and everyone of the staff at the Salmar you are all brilliant. see you next year S S

Exactly what we needed and rebooked!
Beautiful! Tastefully renovated! Relaxing! Lovely staff! I could go on. We have had an amazing week here and really managed to unwind. If you want a party atmosphere, it’s not for you but if you appreciate tranquility, attentive staff and beautiful surroundings - you’ll love it. The food at the restaurant next door is fantastic as is the guy who runs it, he’s very knowledgeable and passionate about what he serves up. You can take a short walk along the seafront walkway and I can recommend Maria’s tapas in Los Abrigos. Also in the top square, up the road you’ll find an amazing restaurant called Old fashioned 1986 but you’ll need to book ahead. All the staff at breakfast and on reception are superb and you can tell they are happy working in their newly renovated space. I get the impression the hotel was a bit outdated previously. Special thanks to both Miguel’s (one in the bar and one on reception!) and to Rosali (I think that’s correct spelling!) and the other girls who looked after us in the pool and breakfast area. We will see you in March!!

Absolutely beautiful hotel
What an absolutely beautiful hotel this is. Just spent a week there and cannot recommend enough. Impeccably clean, maid service every day, food beautiful and staff very friendly. Should be 5 star 🌟 will be returning for sure.
