The apartments are located on the plains of Los Cristianos just a few hundred metres from the sea and the rocky beach, which are located in front of the complex. Los Cristinanos town centre and the beach are just within 15 minutes' walk of the complex. Along the way guests may find many bars and restaurants, including several on site. The bus station is around 1.5 km away and shopping facilities can be found around 1 km from the hotel. Siam Park and Aqua Land is around 3 km away, the Jungle Park is some 5 km away and Teide and Las Cañadas are some 35 km from the property.
Built in 1986, the apartments are built around the large heated swimming pool and tropical gardens. Highly recommended by reviewers and past guests, these apartments are close enough to everything without being in the loud part of Tenerife. The apartment hotel has a total of 230 units. Facilities include a lobby, 24-hour check-out service, currency exchange facilities and lift access to the upper floors. The complex includes a hairdressing salon, café, bar, pub and restaurant. Wireless Internet access is available and guests may make use of the car park. The hotel also offers a bicycle hire service (for a fee).
All of the apartments are individually furnished to a high standard and include many touches not normally found in self-catering accommodation. All apartments have a TV with satellite/ cable channels. Each apartment has its own kitchen with everything guests need to cook and eat in, if desired, including a fridge, cooker, microwave and tea and coffee making facilities. There are different views available from the apartments, with the private balcony offering different views including pool view, sea view and mountain view. The en suite bathroom includes a shower, bath and hairdryer. Additional amenities include a radio and ironing set.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
Recently returned from a beautiful 2 week stay @Paloma Beach apartments . The location is perfect about a four minute walk to the promenade and then a lovely stroll into the centre of the resort .lots of stunning restaurants . The apartments are lovely and spacious we were on floor two there is a small lift we had a limited sea view and a limited pool view but it was quiet . After 7 pm when the pool bar and restaurant closes it's really quiet . The pool is lovely and there is a walk in access for people with mobility issues and plenty of step accesses . Lifeguard on duty 10--6 . No inflatables allowed . You pay 2.50 a day for each sunbeds and umbrella you can take a small table from the pool bar ( return it in the evening ) it prevents the sun bEd wars to an extent but people are still out securing their spaces before the pool opens at 10am but there was always space around the pool in my opinion it's not crazy . But I do feel the extra cost mounts up and I'm sure there are other ways to manage this just releasing the beds at 10 am is a management plan so the charge is a bit sneaky . The rooms are clean but I did feel could do with a deep clean tiles are grotty and around taps etc is quite tarnished . The rooms are not cleaned during the holiday other than bins emptied bed changed once a week and towels replaced every three days . I have a small comment on the shower I think paloma beach should provide shower mats they are slippy and if you have mobility issues and slipped theres a glass panel which could result in a nasty accident so maybe a grab rail non slip mats and also somewhere to put shampoo shower gel etc for ease . The staff are fantastic helpful and friendly . The pool bar is lovely staff are terrific , food is lovely . Plenty of drink choices . Hyperdino is a three minute stroll away Mercadona is huge I got a taxi and great for stocking up for two week stay as there is a decent fridge and cooking facilities in the apartment . Also for those of you who love a beauty dupe the mercadona won't disappoint . 30 euro taxi fare to airport ATM at gate if complex and three small bars here . Homeless people are evident in the area, no problems with this just sad to watch . The complex is very safe . The resort is safe . Dining out is a little cheaper than ireland . Local beer cheap imported more expensive . I would recommend paloma beach though we had a great holiday . The shower facilities for use on departure definitely need an overhaul .... but these are small fussy things Sharon ( county Laois ireland )
9 of us including 4 kids have just returned from a 10 night stay at Paloma Beach Apartments. Although I wouldn't return (simply due to not having an appropriate air con system), the apartment complex is in a great location & ticked a lot of boxes for us. The rooms were spacious & clean on arrival. We didn't mind paying for sun beds as this eliminated any panic in the mornings trying to get them. The pool area was kept clean, it was quiet, no music or any kids entertainment going on, didn't bother us too much as our kids had their friends there but maybe for others visiting, this is important to know. On speaking to a lady that visits regularly, a lot of the apts are owned privately which is why the place is so quiet. There is a supermarket only 5mins walk & bars restaurants along the beach are a 15min walk so really great location. I did speak to a staff member about the smell of weed when we opened our balcony door but unfortunately, it appears this is legal to smoke in Spain, so unfortunately there was nothing they could do about this, my friends staying in a separate apt to us didn't have this issue at all so maybe we were just unlucky.
Overall, a great holiday but the sleepless nights due to the heat and lack of appropriate air con, I wouldn't return. The portable aircon machines were old and you needed to be on top of them to feel any sort of cool air. We had to hang the hose part out the sliding door of the main living area as my 71 year old mother in-law was sleeping on the sofa bed and the second machine we had, we had to hang the hose out the window and it kept falling down into the bedroom as it would only extend so far (this hose part is blowing out hot air) Disaster!! I also felt a bit unsafe keeping the sliding door open for the hose but it was the only way for my mother in law to try to get some sleep. I would definitely recommend these apartments for location, cleanliness and beautiful pool area but would highlight that not all their apts have air con machines installed. I think this should be advised to people at the booking stage also. We were advised that there was an additional charge for aircon but that we can avail/pay on arrival. I had no idea that we would be using fans/ old portable aircon machines.
We were not supposed to be staying here we arrived in tenerife and booked into another apartment which after been assured was NOT wheelchair accessible.
However we found Paloma beach and they were nothing but incredible very accommodating very friendly and an all round great place. They are very child friendly.
Pool is good and super clean, the apartments are spacious and very clean.
The food in the mini bar/restaurant is a great standard.
All in all fab place so much so we booked to come again.
great place to stay... relaxing, clean and near to all amenities
The apartments were spotless and the staff very very helpful. Any issues were sorted with the minimum of fuss. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff to sort out.
