Just come home… absolutely love the Parque Santiago 3! The room was lovely, lacking in aircon but we just rented some for €60 euros for the week. The apartment was cleaned every day with new towels each time too. We booked with Jet 2 and it was a Superior 1 bed apartment(not studio) in the Santa Maria blocked with resort view. Beautiful balcony to ourselves.Pictures added (mind the mess). Kids slept on double sofa bed with no complaints (8&10). Yes the pool was shut 2x but the other pool was still accessible and yes it is salt (stings the eyes,(my kids wore their goggles and were fine) , and the taste is yuk for about a second 😂 but makes it easy to swim and float. The kids section is brilliant, my youngest had the best time on the slides. It was peaceful at this end. We didn’t use the restaurant but most nights there seemed to be a singer and I saw kids and parents dancing. I would absolutely book again. As for building noise I head it maybe 1 morning for half an hour and that was it. The staff here clearly work very hard to keep the place looking beautiful. I watched them at night for hours after the pool had closed cleaning and then in the morning. I wouldn’t hesitate to book again. (First time Tenerife-er). Staff are were all super friendly and helpful and it’s felt very safe with security around the resort. Thanks for a great experience!
We went to this hotel on our first holiday as little families all together, the hotel is in a great location. However this has to be the nosiest hotel I have ever stayed in from chairs and tables scraping across the ceiling, doors slamming all through the night and the cleaners being very noisy from very very early in the morning. There is only one ceiling fan in the whole room so the bathroom is so hot when having a shower or using the toilet. It states it’s a family hotel however when we were playing with my nephew in the pool we had little balls throwing them and the lifeguards were whistling at us saying we weren’t allowed. The sunbeds that are out at the pool are comfy however there’s not many parasols and there mostly broken so couldn’t use them and people were using four at a time which was ridiculous.
We stayed at Parque Santiago 3 for a family holiday it was not as good as when we arrived we had a very basic room with a small shower head and dated bathroom so we did have to upgrade at an additional price. Be wary as some of the rooms are very dated but the upgraded room was great. We were self catering so we did not have any food in the hotel. Great location on the strip. Pool was freezing in April as they apparently turn the heat off at that time of the year.
WARNING BEFORE BOOKING PARQUE SANTIAGO III
The hotel had almost 4½ hours to clean, inspect and prepare our three-bedroom ocean-view villa, yet it was handed over with numerous faults that ruined the final part of our holiday.
Be aware that neither Booking.com nor the hotel’s own website clearly states that villa options below the four-bedroom category do not have built-in air conditioning in the bedrooms. Guests must instead rely on rented portable units.
Our villa had:
Engineers and staff repeatedly entered the villa throughout our three-night stay, destroying our privacy and rest.
We spent over £2,000 on this stay, after already spending approximately £4,500 with them the previous week.
This was our first family holiday since my mother passed away, and what should have been a peaceful and meaningful break became one of the worst holiday experiences we have ever had.
Despite everything:
Be very careful when booking with this company, because there is a great deal that is not clearly disclosed, and our experience showed very little care once payment had been taken.
Overall score: 1 out of 10.
We had 2 dated rooms, beds uncomfortable, ceiling fan....yes, this day and age ? requested 2 rooms next to each other & on ground floor - ignored. power points in these rooms are deadly - with 1 directly over kitchen sink ! smell of pure sewer from 10 am in the morning. - oh the joys. sun rises around 9am, directly over Cleopatra hotel, no shade so i asked for a parasol - denied ! yet Cleopatra hotel have them on top floor balcony's - so the excuse of them blowing over, well unreal. not to mention, hardly any room to charge mobility scooters, which were at the other side of the complex, long flight of stairs ! Pools were a free for all - 9am prompt opening like its a black Friday sale....honestly, this hotel we waited 3 years to get in it....however, needless to say never again. unfriendly staff, over rated hotel, very salty pool. looks good on the outside, but don't let looks deceive you. pictures will follow.
