Spring Hotel Bitacora

Been there before 3 years ago didn't dissapoint this time great holiday great hotel, food is fantastic the up lounge is amazing as ever cannot praise it enough

if i could write a 0 star i honestly would i don’t know where to start. the staff were disgusting, rude, abrupt. we hated our stay here. the food is inedible the cups for the drinks are disgusting i’ve even seen them fish the cups out of the bins. the hotel cleanliness was disgusting. chairs in the dining hall infested with ants. Kids picking food up with hands. not a variety of food to choose from at all we spent over £2,000 eating out because the food was appaling . shop inside hotel overpriced, the lifts close on their own and nearly squished one of us, stairs near the pool are so dangerous one of us slipped and was so close to cutting his head open, cockroaches stuck inside AC. one day the staff left the cleaning machine for the pool inside the pool all morning kids playing and getting tangled around it hurting themselves, sunbeds covered with water everywhere our bags got wet through, we had to stay away from this hotel all day to enjoy our holiday. Towels replaced daily but have stains everywhere like poo, blood, earwax. overall our stay here was shambles holiday from hell. and let’s not talk about the fun bar at night what a joke!!! we got told to sit down as we were waiting in a long queue at night time- so we sat down and got told we would get table service 30 mins passed no one came over despite the fact of us calling people over to the table to get completely ignored so we went to queue again. and asked why no one has been to our table since we got kicked out of the massive queue we were second in line and got told to sit down so we asked alexandra why no one has been over she screamed in my mums face “QUEUE” so we walked out, staffs attitude at this place is disgraceful. i would recommend to stay away from this hotel at all costs.

Now that I’m home, I’ve had time to think about just how special another holiday at Hotel Bitácora has been. ❤️

This was our third year choosing the adults-only UP experience, and every year we seem to love it even more. There’s something about arriving back at Bitácora and getting that feeling of “we’re back!”

For those two weeks, I can leave work, routines and everyday stresses behind and just enjoy being on holiday. Bitácora has become somewhere I can properly switch off, relax and make memories.

Our room was always clean, comfortable and welcoming, which made it even easier to relax and feel at home throughout our stay. Having a comfortable room to return to after a busy day made such a difference.

I absolutely love our UP Days. ☀️🌴 Spending the day in the adults-only area, relaxing in the Tenerife sunshine, enjoying a drink, chatting and laughing is exactly what I need from a holiday.

The UP Lounge is another part we really enjoy. It’s lovely having somewhere comfortable to go, relax together and enjoy that little extra part of the UP experience. After three years, all these little things have become part of what we look forward to when we return.

Of course, we also love the UP Club and party nights. 🍹🎉 There are always plenty of laughs, good memories and moments where you just wish the night didn’t have to end.

Food is another big part of our holiday. We really enjoy the UP buffet, especially because it offers delicious food throughout the day, from breakfast through to lunch. Starting the morning with a lovely breakfast and then enjoying lunch in the UP area makes the whole experience feel so easy and relaxing. Even though I’m vegetarian, there is always something for me to eat and enjoy. 🌱❤️ That’s important to me because I don’t want to spend my holiday worrying about finding something suitable — I want to sit down with everyone else and enjoy the experience.

We also love the special UP meal, which gives us another lovely experience to look forward to.

Then, after a day relaxing in UP, we enjoy heading into the main part of the hotel for the evening shows. 🎶✨ I love that we can have a relaxing adults-only experience during the day and then enjoy the entertainment and atmosphere of the main hotel at night.

This holiday also reminded me how important it is to appreciate every moment. We had some unexpected emotional moments when my friend became unwell, and thankfully everything turned out okay. It made the simple things — sitting together, having a meal, sharing a drink or laughing at something silly — mean even more. ❤️

When I think about Bitácora now, I don’t just think about a hotel. I think about three years of memories.

The UP Days. The sunshine. The UP Lounge. The Club. The party nights. The UP meal. The UP buffet from breakfast through to lunch. The clean and comfortable room. The evening shows. The cocktails. And, most importantly, all the laughs and memories we’ve shared along the way. 🌴🍹❤️

That’s why coming home is always bittersweet. I’m happy to be home, but part of me is already missing waking up in Tenerife and knowing another Bitácora day is ahead.
