Really enjoyed our first visit
Had a really great holiday - first time at a Barcelo which was recommended by the friends we went with and first time we booked all inclusive. Enjoyed the daytime activities run by WeHappy which got us chatting to and interacting with other guests. Food really good, staff friendly. Had a great view from the 9th floor. Liked the various pools. We booked using Jet2 and used private transfers which were also great. Wish we had booked for two weeks and not just one week. Will return for sure, lots of the other guests were frequent visitors which is always a good sign.

Good points... Amazing views.🙂 Rooms very clean and beds comfortable. 🙂Some branded drinks included.🙂 Choice of 3 pools and lovely balanesse beds that you can hire for the day with pool side service.🙂 Most of the staff were very helpful and pleasant 🙂
Bad points Food looked amazing with lots of choice HOWEVER..... quite bland...meat tough... general catering standard food. Sometimes only just warm☹️ Terrible smell in some areas around the pool and toilets next to the restaurant....they have serious drainage issues ☹️ queues at the breeze bar to get drinks ☹️ or waiting ages for table service. Cocktails were poor ☹️ we were room 363 and the walk to our room was grim . We could see it was work in progress with all the maintenance but was still not very aesthetically pleasing☹️ Most staff were lovely but some were very rude☹️ entertainment poor and they need to up their game with this☹️ It didnt spoil our holiday and we had a lovely time but would we return?. No.

Fantastic Holiday
My daughter and I stayed here for 7 nights all inclusive - week commencing 19 September and we had a wonderful relaxing time. We were on the 9th floor and the view was breathtaking. All the staff were professional friendly and helpful. The food was amazing - so much choice and even though the waiting staff were busy we never had to wait for drinks. The pools and sun lounger areas were perfect ! We loved the Aqua aerobics session- great fun!! The entertainment was a bit ‘flat’ some nights but we appreciate it’s difficult to please everyone. Our room was a ‘little tired’ and could do with updating ie shower enamel chipped and we had water dripping from ceiling one day but upon reporting it the problem was sorted quickly. These were minor things and did not spoil our holiday at all. Overall this hotel has a great atmosphere and is a great place to stay and we would definitely come back!
Wow! Wow! Wow! Superb hotel in stunning location
Wow!! What a holiday. Fulfilled our expectations and more. Couldn’t fault anything at this hotel and gave it 10/10. This was our 2nd stay in a Barceló Adults Only Hotel and the standards are superb. Upgraded to All Inclusive before heading out and so glad we did! Branded drinks and delicious cocktails with no restrictions on food at the beach bar including tasty slow cooked pork ribs and rib-eye steak. No problem getting sun beds when going for breakfast even though many people went out to reserve early morning. A big shout out to all the staff for their hard work and keeping everything running smoothly. Stunning location with the backdrop of Los Gigantes. All in all a great holiday and would certainly recommend.

Views from pool and dining area are stunning! Room with jacuzzi was great and very relaxing Hotel reception were helpful with transport and medical queries Food experience was average as restaurants very busy as too many guests for a comparatively small restaurant and far too few waiters for amount of guests Surrounding area and bars quite dated apart from a few behind local supermarket that overlook ocean Nearby beaches (20 minutes walk) were very small and not up to much Entertainment quality was mixed Motown group were good but appeared twice in 6 nights -other acts were not memorable!
