Rixos Downtown Antalya

The hotel was nicely situated, around a 25 minute transfer from the airport. When we arrived, we were greeted by friendly reception staff (Sofiia O) and my children were wowed by the lifts 😄

The atmosphere in the hotel is relaxed and not stuffy like you find with some premium hotels. There was a big mix of nationalities for guests.

The room was a good size, 3 of us shared a single room with a King bed and a single bed. The room was nicely stocked with a mini car containing water, juice, beer and sodas. The King bed was extremely comfy and the single bed as also perfectly fine. The aircon in the room keeps you comfortable even in the hottest temperatures and there is no noise from outside for a good night's sleep.

The hotel is well maintained, there's constantly staff working to keep it clean and maintain the garden areas.

Access to the beach was easy, the service and offerings at the beach were fantastic with a wide array of drinks and snacks available.

The pool was always fairly busy but fun. The aerobics from 11:30-12:00 each day were fun to watch and there was no pressure to join in. Getting a sunbed in the afternoon could be tricky but in the morning was no problem if you try and get a lounger before 10am. The bar service on roller skates is a fun novelty and the selection is good.

The food offering in the buffet was excellent, always something for picky teens and lots of selection of local Turkish foods which were nice to try.

One of our highlights was the Tepenaki restaurant which is a paid extra (30 euro/person) but was well worth it, the chef was very entertaining and it made for a good talking point the rest of the holiday.

Another bonus of the hotel is it's access to Land of Leisure, approximately 40mins by bus which leaves daily at 10am and returns at 5pm, giving you plenty of time to enjoy the rides. Upon arrival you are given a wrist band which you "top up" with cash and use as your primary method for paying for extras whilst in the park - food/drink/photos etc. The locker price for the day was quite expensive here (around 10Gbp from memory)

Lovely hotel - very nice staff and service especially Melih from the kitchen staff. We are vegan and he would always go out of his way to make sure we had desserts and always greeted us with a smile.

Land of legends bus trip was really good too and included! Really fun waterpark!

Also, the activities have been really fun. We did the coffee workshop and the cocktail workshop and they were really fun! The vegetarian/vegan restaurant was really nice too. Very beautiful atmosphere and lovely staff there too. The gym is very well equipped and actually has a lot of machines my gym back home doesnt have! Overall really beautifully maintained hotel with lovely staff who love to help.

Only downside has been that some parents dont control their kids very well and some of them run amok messing around in the lifts and by the pool.

Everything was excellent during my stay. The room was comfortable and spotless, the service was outstanding, and the food was delicious with a great variety of options. The facilities were well-maintained, the pool was beautiful and relaxing, and the bars offered a fantastic atmosphere. The lobby was elegant and welcoming, and the restaurant exceeded my expectations. Most importantly, all the employees were professional, friendly, and always ready to help. I highly recommend this hotel and would gladly stay here again.
