IC Hotels Residence

This hotel consists of 2 seperate types of accommodation - hotel stay or villa stay. Our holiday was in the Lakeside Villa which include use of all facilities of the hotel plus we had exclusive use of the lakeside swimming pool, public villa pool and the Mavi restaurant which was for villa customers only.

It was the first time on holiday that it took a few days for myself and my husband to settle in. Communication was poor on arrival and there was no plan of the site so we had to find everything ourselves. We eventually found a map on a screen in the main hotel but this didn’t cover the villa area. For example, in the Mavi restaurant (where the buffet is considerably smaller than the main hotel buffet) we were not offered an à la carte menu until the third day - we didn’t even realise that this restaurant is actually à la carte as well as a buffet and you could order from the menu if there was nothing on the buffet you fancied.

Food was excellent throughout but the main hotel buffet was very busy with people pushing to get to the hot plates. Drinks were excellent being branded cans and beers, spirits etc

Bizarrely, the beautiful villa pool had no waiter service, instead a fridge of cans to help yourself. Yet the main hotel pools there was roller blading waiters that came around every 30 minutes to take your order- Muhammad was great!

The actual lakeside villa was very good. Basic amenities were clean and air con was excellent. WiFi was excellent but again no communication and we had to get the password from a waiter. We had 2 large bedrooms with their own bathrooms and a large lounge area.

The grounds were immaculate - gardeners and staff working all the time to keep everywhere pristine.

The biggest downside to our holiday was that our ‘lakeside villa’ didn’t actually have any sunbeds available next to the lakeside villa pool. Every other room appeared to have steps or a patio directly from their room, however, with our room (5031) being in the corner, it didn’t work out that we had a place to sunbath. Any other room around the lakeside villa pool would have not had this problem.

Location was good with a transfer time of 40 mins. Taxi to Lara Beach strip took 10 mins 10 euros.

Atmosphere was good as you could find a pool or space to suit your requirements - peaceful, relaxing, activity, kids, family, drinking, etc

The villa spa was beautiful and Merry the therapist was excellent.

Overall this holiday was perfect for our families requirements but with a few small adjustments to communication, it could have been a touch better.

We stayed here from 26th July to 2nd August 2026 as a large family group, and overall we had a fantastic holiday.

The hotel itself is very good. The pools were clean, well maintained and there was plenty of space to relax. The children's splash area and water play facilities were excellent and kept the kids entertained throughout our stay.

The staff were friendly, helpful and always working hard to make sure guests had a good experience. A big thank you to all of them for their effort and hospitality.

The food was also one of the better all-inclusive experiences we have had. Having stayed at several all-inclusive hotels, we were impressed with the quality and variety available. It was great not to feel like the choice was limited to the usual chips and pizza every day, and there was enough variety for both adults and children.

The entertainment team worked extremely hard, and there was something different happening every day. Whilst not every show was to our personal taste, the variety was appreciated. The main issue was the area used for the children's disco became incredibly hot, almost unbearable at times. We genuinely don't know how the entertainers managed to continue dancing and performing in those conditions. Unfortunately, we often had to leave early as it was simply too uncomfortable, especially with children. Better ventilation, using the poolside stage, air conditioning or an alternative venue would make a huge difference.

The hotel shops are another area that could be improved. They are extremely expensive, and because there are limited alternatives nearby, it does feel like guests have little choice but to pay the higher prices. A reasonably priced shop for everyday essentials would be a welcome addition, especially for families.

Breakfast was very good, although my only suggestion would be to have more chefs available for omelettes. They were extremely popular, and there was always a queue in the mornings. Adding another station would improve the experience.

The rooms were a little smaller than expected, and with only four lifts serving the entire building, there were times when you had to wait, particularly during busy periods.

Overall, these are mainly areas for improvement rather than things that ruined our stay. We had a lovely family holiday and would recommend this hotel to others looking for a good all-inclusive experience.
