- Seaden Quality Resort and Spa

This family-friendly hotel is ideally located in Side. The hotel is located directly on the beach and the city centre. A treasure trove of attractions can be found nearby. Guests will find themselves within easy access of a number of shopping, dining and entertainment venues. Antalya Airport is just 64 km away from the hotel. This wonderful beach hotel is sure to impress. The guest rooms are superbly designed, offering comfort and style in a relaxed setting. Guests can enjoy delectable dining in the restaurants, followed by a refreshing drink in the bar. The little ones will be pleased by the many facilities and services that the hotel provides.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
What a wonderful hotel! I have read a few negative reviews based on travellers views however our holiday really was great. Check in: We arrived very late due to a delayed flight but check in was quick and our luggage taken to our room promptly.
Room: We upgraded our room when booking, to a sea view room, we had room 7129 and this was a quiet room at night with barely any noise from neighbouring hotels. We had no issue with noisy neighbours or ‘paper thin walls’ and had a family with children to one side of us. The room was spacious and cleaned daily, good sized balcony and the sofa bed for our daughter worked well with an additional mattress topper for comfort. There is a pillow menu if desired to choose a specific firmness of pillow!
Location: A great location although if using transfers through the travel agent, it’s a good 1.5 hours! The hotel is in walking distance to the shops for your bargains and a ten minute taxi journey to Old Town Side (a worthwhile trip for seeing the sites/having a meal/boat trip/shopping).
Beach: Lovely beach but very rocky walking into the sea - take some sea shoes and it’s no issue. The sea is lovely and warm and plenty of water sports if you want to have some extra fun.
Food/Drink: Al a Cart restaurants are great and had no issue booking - buffets have huge variety and we always found something to eat including our fussy 8 year old - she loved the crepes at breakfast! Snack bar also available with extensive menu for beside the pool. Huge selection of drinks, cocktails and soft drinks. Premium branded alcohol is available at no extra cost. Fabulous!! Ice creams available at the pool bar and also a patisserie for cakes, ice creams and coffee.
Pool: brilliant space, as long as you don’t leave your loungers before 8:30am your towels are safe otherwise, towels are removed which is fair enough! Huge pool with entertainment from the team. (My only minor issue with the entertainment was the music - often unnecessarily loud and the choice of music not always suitable for little ears!)
Evening Entertainment: great entertainment - mini disco at 20:30 and then evening entertainment followed, always offering variety. Our favourite was the Avatar pool party - brilliant night for all!
Staff: All staff were very friendly throughout the hotel and nothing was ever too much, always said hello and all were great - language barrier a little tricky but we got by!
Would we return? Absolutely yes!
Recommendation from us: A separate smoking area away from the pool - whilst I understand some would disagree and this is likely an unpopular opinion, as a non smoking family, having cigarette smoke blown in your face/child’s face from someone who hasn’t a care in the world who they’re blowing it at whilst on your lounger is not pleasant and some consideration could be taken for this.
Thank you Seaden Quality for a wonderful stay! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
So my first comment here is, the hotel needs to work out what it is, a family hotel, luxury resort or a Hard Rock Party hotel - at the moment it’s none of those and failing individually at all 3 aspects.
Some comments I’ve seen before my holiday are true;
Walls are paper thin so you can hear much of what goes on next door.
Noise - this isn’t a place to go for a relaxing holiday.
Tipping - not in my life have I had tip boxes in all places you could dream of in a hotel, especially not at the Omelette counter. The culture is in full flow where this is concerned and it’s not a good look.
The hotel WiFi is quite intermittent also.
Whilst I cannot fault the food and drink, 5-star it is not - my guess is they tick lots of amenity boxes to get there, the hotel is tiresome in places and needs some work, and they should remove the ‘Ultra’ in their title, premium Gin as an example is Gordon’s or Beefeater. Breakfast is also clearly designed for local appetites.
The beach offering is also sadly pretty poor.
In general the Turkish hotel scene is still not as mature as your usual Portugal, Spain and Greece resorts and is trying to buy its way into that pool of customer, with a long way to go - buyer beware, save the flight time and stick to what you know.
We stayed at the hotel from August 2nd to 11th and overall we were very satisfied with our experience. The hotel, services and staff were excellent, and we felt very comfortable throughout our stay. The staff in general were great, but we would especially like to mention Talat Tolga, who really stood out. As we are both active in sports ourselves, we really appreciate a good-quality workout, and training with Talat Tolga became one of the highlights of our holiday. He is a professional, energetic and highly motivating trainer who knows how to create a great atmosphere while still delivering challenging and high-quality workouts. Every session was full of energy and we genuinely looked forward to training with him. If you enjoy staying active during your holiday, we definitely recommend joining one of Talat Tolga’s training sessions. His workouts are absolutely worth it! The only downside for us was the rocky beach and the more difficult access to the sea. Apart from that, everything went smoothly and we were very happy with the hotel, the services and our overall stay. Thank you to the whole team for a great holiday, and a special thank you to Talat Tolga for the fantastic workouts, motivation and energy! Martina a Adam
A really fantastic resort that is unfortunately let down by the staff.
We stayed here for a week and were really impressed with the amenities. The pool is big and modern and has a lovely atmosphere. Our room was lovely. The food was absolutely fantastic. So much choice and very flavourful. (The desserts looked beautiful but unfortunately all tasted the same, almost no taste at all which was a shame but I enjoyed the baklava every night).
Our only issue (which did have a pretty big impact) was that the staff were not welcoming and were honestly rude. The staff in the main buffet in particular were very rude and I don’t think I saw one person smile during our whole stay there. They would stand looking miserable and look annoyed when you needed something. One server in particular was very rude to us on several occasions, including sighing and looking at his watch when I asked for a Coke at dinner?! They also didn’t really speak English which didn’t help. It really put a downer on our stay and is definitely not worthy of 5 stars.
With proper training, this place could be incredible but unfortunately it falls short due to the service. We often felt like an inconvenience when asking for a drink or cutlery which for a hotel of this calibre is just not acceptable.
I recently stayed at Sidean Quality Resort & Spa with my family and would like to share my honest feedback.
The hotel itself is modern, clean, and well maintained. The pool area is beautiful, and the facilities are of a high standard. I would especially like to thank Gamze from the fitness team and Issa, who were genuinely friendly, professional, and always made us feel welcome. They were the highlights of our stay.
Unfortunately, the overall service from most of the restaurant staff was disappointing and did not meet the standard expected from a five-star hotel.
One of the biggest disappointments was the lack of an open snack buffet between breakfast and lunch. Guests must order from an à la carte menu, and it is not possible to customize the meals, which is inconvenient, especially for families with children.
The restaurant service was the weakest part of our stay. On several occasions, I felt ignored while other guests who arrived after me were served first. During one evening show, I ordered water and snacks, but waited almost one hour just to receive a bottle of water. Meanwhile, nearby guests were served much faster. This happened more than once and left me feeling overlooked and unimportant.
I also felt that many members of the restaurant staff were not welcoming. They rarely smiled, rarely checked on our table, and often walked past us without acknowledging us. Even when I thanked them, their response was cold and unfriendly.
I personally felt that some European guests received noticeably more attentive and warmer service than we did. Whether it was intentional or not, this gave me the impression that we were treated differently, which was very disappointing and affected our overall holiday experience.
Communication could also be improved. Most staff members mainly spoke Turkish and German, while English was not consistently used with international guests.
Another issue was the poor quality of the hotel wristbands, which broke several times during our stay and had to be replaced repeatedly.
Although the hotel has facilities for children, I believe Side Princess offers a much better experience for families, with more activities and entertainment for children throughout the day.
Finally, I was surprised that the hotel made very little effort to ask about our experience. We only received a brief phone call around 6:00 p.m. the day before our departure that lasted about 20 seconds. We were simply asked if everything was okay, without any real interest in listening to our feedback or discussing our concerns.
Overall, the hotel has excellent facilities, but the customer service did not match the quality of the property. A beautiful hotel alone is not enough—guests should also feel welcomed, respected, and equally valued. Unfortunately, that was not our experience. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and uses it to improve the service for future guests.
