Absolutely the biggest dump ever ,worse hotel I've ever stayed in.
Location ok hotel it's self rooms are very basic bathroom looks like it hasn't been finished bare concrete walls. Chrome work on shower and sink looks as if it's never been cleaned. Floors are the dirtiest I've ever seen, watched them mop near the pool omg they sprinkled a little water out of a bucket with their hands and then use a dry mop never cleaned properly, on the upside the staff are friendly but what I look for is a clean place to stay with clean towels so I can shower. They stated towels only replaced twice a week although they were replaced every day don't know if that was because they were only half full. Would I stay here again no. The lighting is very bad so if you are a little short sighted take a torch very hard to see the locks to your room and lady's if you want to put makeup on do it outside as won't be able to see the only time I could see properly was when it was light outside and I had the curtains and balcony door open. 2/10 this has to be the worse hotel I've ever stayed in and I've stayed in over 100.

Having just returned from my 10 days stay at the Serpina Hotel, I wish to express my thanks to all the lovely, hard working, friendly staff members who helped to make my holiday a happy, stress free time. As a mature female, solo traveller, it was a delight to stay in such a friendly and welcoming environment. My room was spacious, shower room was a delight (though lighting could be a bit brighter, especially over the sink, mirror area), and towels changed enough for my needs. Plenty to eat at breakfast - cereal/ yoghurt, meat, cheese, salad items, scrambled egg, lovely bread, butter/jams, fruits, cake, tea/coffee/orange juice - I just can't understand how some folk complain that that is not enough!! Supermarkets close by, walk to start of beach takes 5 to 10 minutes (depending on your walk pace), Dolmus transport stop to Bodrum only means crossing the road outside Serpina Hotel (and inexpensive), though the hotel reception will order a taxi if preferred. Many restaurants/bars are close by, within walking distance, the only disappointment for me was the lack of singers/entertainment in their establishments. Overall my stay at the Serpina Hotel and visit to Gumbet gets 5 stars. 😀

We lived Serpina Hotel
It is beyond me that anybody can give this hotel a bad review! Rooms cleaned every day including fresh towels, one of the cleanest pools I’ve ever used, wonderful staff, nothing was too much trouble. Yes, the breakfast is basic and there appears to be a ‘that’s my sun-bed’ attitude but apart from that, we had an ideal week with beautiful weather, thank you Serpina.
Two things you should be aware of. Gumbet Beach is not pleasant at all, dirty with litter everywhere, I wouldn’t recommend it. Secondly, the infrastructure outside of the hotel is awful, paths in bad need of repair, traffic and parked cars a nightmare. Gumbet needs considerable investment if it wants to keep tourists visiting.

Not as advertised
I would mirror the previous 2 reviews. This can't be the best hotel in Gumbet!! Staff are lovely and welcoming but the rooms are inadequate for a weeks holiday! The bathroom been the worst. Know where to put any toiletries just a awful iron stand the shower trickled out and the toilet was so low to the floor it was like a nursery toilet. The balcony well, you cant even sit on it its a juliett balcony. No kettle but I did take my own. Won't be back

One Star at Best.
How this is rated No 1 out of 89 Hotels in Gumbet is beyond me....seriously it's a joke. I'm really struggling to see how they get 5* reviews. Room itself was okay. Very Very basic...but clean. Towels changed regularly and to be fair the bed was really comfortable. Breakfast was sufficient to start you up for the day... Pool area was just dirty. I echo comments about the cleanliness of the sunbeds...they were filthy, the picture attached to previous comments is an very accurate picture showing the state of them...management can dispute this all they like...but what can't speak...can't lie ! We won't be back and I couldn't in all honesty recommend it to anyone.
