My Hella
Having travelled all over the world in many nice hotels and some not so nice I have to say this was probably the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in. Filthy dirty, questionable food, poor service and miserable staff which can kind of be expected given that they haven’t been paid but isn’t what a holiday maker expects when they’ve paid for a five star experience. Everything is incredibly rundown and in disrepair. I can’t believe some of the reviews that are incredibly positive because no one in their right mind would enjoy staying here. About three hours into our day I contacted TUI to ask what could be done as there was no chance we were staying there for the full week. Fortunately the next day the rep was incredibly helpful and although he is very busy moving numerous other travellers, he managed to secure us new accommodation in Gumbet that we were delighted with and met with our expectations. This isn’t just a grumble there were coach loads of people leaving. The hotel needs to be condemned or at least some very serious changes made, not that I would ever consider staying there in the future.
Disappointed
Was very disappointed at the start of our stay. After talking with locals we found out the staff had not been paid and some had gone on strike!! The hotel was not clean and the food was awful. So bad we went out to eat for a few days!! Things did eventually improve once staff had been paid Food was so much better but the cleaning of room was a bit hit and miss Music was always loud when by the pool so not very relaxing and as it is not a large area really did not need to be so loud!! The staff did improve and were certainly friendly once they had been paid!! Would we go again sorry no!!
Disappointing
Disappointing Cleanliness poor, the staff were under pressure , hadn’t been paid. Noisey around the pool , loud music . Food adequate , the bar worked well , good service and plenty of drinks served. Location good , beach adequate , certainly not a 5 star hotel , I managed to get a last minute deal , I would have been really annoyed if I had paid “top dollar “

Amazing hotel, Amazing staff!
We stayed in My Ella for a few days. We had a really great time. Ronaldo and Charlie organised a boat trip for us, brother's boat- they made the experience enjoyable and made my birthday celebration extra special. They made us feel so comfortable around the hotel too. Would highly recommend.

We had a fantastic time! We attended the brothers boat trip hosted by Ronaldo and Charlie was so much fun!! Would go back again!! Great atmosphere!!
