Nice easy going hotel a 15 minute stroll from the centre.
Had a great week at this lovely hotel. Situated within easy walking distance to all tourist spots of the beutiful Dalyan.
All staff are very accomodating and helpful keeping the place running like clockwork. Big shout out to Bavv on the bar who works more than the clock does itself! Food was always tasty wether it be breakfast or one of the optional buffet meals and you can just eat as much as you want! Bar prices are very competitive and always attract a good community around the pool. Always a good WIFI connection.
Rooms are spot on with clean towels every other day, good air con, TV and nice cubical shower. Take your own little travl kettle if you like a early or late cuppa. There is a large Migros at the end of the road which sells anything you may need. Bar Street is a 15 minute stroll.
Recommended hotel close to the centre so no need for Taxis or bus rides. We hope to be back sooner rather than later.

Happiest days ever!
Have just returned from our 10 night break at the amazing Basar Otel. We stayed half board. The food is fresh, breakfast is lovely, dinner is too. The chef noticed my daughter and I refrained from eating onions and he asked us why. We told him onions irritate our stomach and he then, took it upon himself, to prepare the same food for us but with no onions! What a very thoughtful and super kind thing to do. The rooms are immaculate and cleaned every day. I could leave my room unlocked and trust that everything would be safe there. The staff here are very kind and helpful. Basar goes above and beyond for all of his guests. This place is so special, if you visit, am sure you will return.

Wonderful hotel
Just returned from a wonderful week staying at Basar Hotel and couldn’t fault it. The rooms are spotless, breakfast is superb (especially the omelettes and pancakes), pool clean and we never had a problem getting a sunbed - there were six of us. It was my mum’s birthday when we were there and they spotted her opening cards at breakfast and served her a cake that afternoon. We stayed for evening meal twice and the food was superb and plentiful - delicious meze and even made a separate vegetarian meal. Staff are friendly and accommodating and we were allowed to keep our rooms until 4pm on our last day which was really helpful. A short walk into beautiful Dalyan. Highly recommend, wouldn’t hesitate to go back.

Good could be better
We have being visiting Turkey for over 25 years, stayed in lots of different resorts but our favourite resort is Dalyan
This was our 8th time in Dalyan , stayed at Villas with private pools and also different Hotels , Keskin , Turay and Binlik in recent years , so thought we would try Başar Most of the staff are friendly, the breakfast was superb , rooms dated , but cleaned daily
My only issue was all the staff were very much switched onto the German and Turkish guests , not so much English and the most annoying thing that Turkish friends of the owner would turn up most days at 3pm , reserve 6/8 Sunbeds , then disappear to eat , we came back one day from a trip and no Sunbeds were available!!! Will certainly go back to Dalyan but would stop at Keskin , Turay or Binlik , not Başar

BEST HOTEL EVER!
I have just left with my two friends, and was blown away by this incredible hotel, it's run by a bunch of genuinely nice people. My friends and I were soooooo happy and super sad to leave. 100% will be coming again!!!! THE FOOD WAS AMAZING, location was incredible, walking distance from anything you need, super clean! Just an amazing atmosphere with the buzz of fun nice people!!! Always pool chair available. INCREDIBLE VALUE! We had a top floor room, with an incredible view. Honestly, I could rave about this place forever, JUST GO TO IT!!!!
