Located on a completely private peninsula and spread over 168,000 m2, the luxurious Club & Hotel Letoonia is a holiday resort of superlatives. It is stretched along 2 km of Aegean coastline with 3 private beaches, surrounded by lush, verdant vegetation. There are 3,700 metres of walking trails. Fethiye can be reached within a short drive, while the international airport of Dalaman is about 57 km away. The charming accommodation consists of rooms in the main building and bungalows, all with wooden-carved ceiling decorations typical of the region. They are beautifully appointed with all the necessary amenities. Guests wishing to be active can choose between a wide range of sports facilities including a fitness centre and water sports. A first-class spa & wellness area invites to relax and enjoy with all senses. A fantastic pool area, water slides, children's pools and entertainment and numerous excellent restaurants and bars make the offer complete. Simply the ideal place for couples and families with children.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
My family and I enjoyed a fantastic experience at Chopstix! We weren't sure what to expect as the restaurant is slightly hidden away, it's a little bit extra per head (half price for children) but it was more than worth the money!
The restaurant had a great atmosphere and feel to it, with a perfect view overlooking the bay. A welcome drink of champagne on arrival set a nice tone, the chopstix team couldn't do enough for us - refreshing drinks regularly and talking us through the menu. It made for a welcoming meal throughout.
The meal itself was 6 courses of fine dining, starting with sushi (which I've never liked the idea of, however there was so much variety it was great to try). What followed was arguably the best asian cuisine I've had, generous portions, including a must-try dessert of fried ice cream! Thank you so much to the team - Bulent, Ezrem, Semih, and Emirhan - for fantastic service!
Brilliant service by Helin and Simay
We have just returned from a fantastic family holiday at the Leetonia hotel in Fethiye, and overall we absolutely loved it. Myself, my wife and our 12 year old daughter had a brilliant time and would happily return.
The hotel itself is an absolutely stunning location, with amazing views and a fantastic outlook across the surrounding area. The three private beaches are all lovely, and there are plenty of facilities around the resort to keep you occupied.
The food and drink were excellent throughout our stay, with plenty of choice and a special mention to Bulent in the fantasia restaurant who was very friendly and worked so hard to look after everyone.
Our room was modern, clean and comfortable, and the beds were very comfy. The only downside for us was the room felt a little cramped for three people, and there wasn’t quite enough storage space for our clothes, particularly for a longer stay.
The entertainment team worked incredibly hard and were all very friendly and approachable. A special mention to Nathan, who regularly took the time to have a chat. He was a really nice guy and a credit to the entertainment team.
The evening entertainment was probably the one area that didn’t quite live up to our expectations. There were a lot of dance shows. I can appreciate the quality, effort and talent that went into them, but personally I found them a little dull and repetitive after a while. That’s obviously a matter of personal taste though.
The vast majority of the staff were fantastic and worked incredibly hard, often while dealing with some demanding or rude guests. They deserve a lot of credit for the way they carried on regardless. Unfortunately, there was one exception for us. A member of staff at the Agora bar who I believe was called Mahmut, gave us a very different experience. On several occasions I found him rude and unprofessional. On one occasion after I’d ordered a slush for my daughter, he appeared to mock me to a friend who was sitting at the end of the bar. I also heard him refer to me as “the Englishman” which gave me the impression that he has issue with English guests. There was several occasions where I was standing at the bar and he would serve people around me rather than acknowledge me, including one occasion when he appeared to try serve the person standing directly behind me before me. On another occasion, my 12 year old went to the bar for a Cola and, despite being the only person waiting, he still wouldn’t serve her. I’d actually read some positive comments about this particular member of staff before we travelled, so I was surprised by our experience, but of course I’m only able to comment on what happened to us personally.
Thankfully, this was just one negative experience during an otherwise fantastic holiday. The hotel, location, beaches, food, drinks (as long as Mahmut didn’t make them), facilities and the majority of the staff were all excellent, and we came home with some great memories.
Overall, we absolutely loved our holiday and would definitely consider returning to Letoonia.
We arrived expecting a five-star stay and got a dirty, undersized room with staff who lied rather than fixed anything. On arrival, the room had visible black grime, hair in the shower, pillows on the floor. We asked for a proper clean or a room change, reception stalled, sent a “deep clean” that touched nothing, and then accused us of lying about requesting an upgrade, something we never said, and used that accusation to shut down any further help. The room itself doesn’t match what’s advertised. The listing claims 22m²; the actual interior is roughly 12m², with the remainder being an unusable terrace. There are no real windows, only a glass terrace door — while other rooms in the exact same category have proper windows and smaller terraces. Our building was quietly given an inferior room and sold as the same product. Beyond that: the fridge doesn’t cool anything, robes and slippers are withheld unless you push, towels are worn through with holes and rationed to two per person, and the sunbeds have no mattresses and are packed so tightly you’re touching the next guest. Food is average at best, and service across the property is close to nonexistent, worsened by a real language barrier with staff.
This is not a five-star hotel. It’s a five-star price tag on a two-star experience.
An absolute gem of a hotel. Great rooms with wonderful views, several great bars, each with its own cocktail list (all made from scratch) excellent food and the staff are brilliant. Attentive and helpful, quick to help. Special shout out to Sukru, Aziz, Geskun and Sevval who looked after us at the Fantasia and Moonlight restaurants. Great for a family holiday.
