This hotel enjoys a unique setting amidst pine-forested hills, on an elevated position 400 metres above sea level. The hotel is located just a short driving distance away from Fethiye and the National Park of Oludeniz Lagoon and Beach. Enjoying the stunning backdrop of Mount Babadag, this hotel basks in natural beauty. Blending seamlessly with its surroundings, the hotel tempts visitors with the promise of unrivalled peace and serenity. The guest rooms are beautifully appointed, offering a tranquil setting in which to escape the bustle of daily life. Guests are sure to be impressed by the delightful onsite restaurant, where international and traditional dishes can be enjoyed.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
We had a fantastic experience here, being up in the mountains with incredible views and great service. Many thanks to Tuna who made sure every dish I had was ok for me given I have allergies and to Kadir who always had a smile for us when serving drinks. The cats here are well looked after and the kittens are very entertaining 😄. Last but not least is the fabulous photographer who takes amazing photos using the stunning grounds and wonderful sunlight to great effect. Thankyou Montana Pine for a truly great holiday 😊
Nice quiet location, easy to get taxis to busier Oludeniz or walk to Hisaronou. It's quite hilly so people with mobility issues might struggle. Relatively quiet hotel which my family liked. Sunbeds generally available, and didn't feel overly crowded. Rooms comfortable and not too far. Good value overall
A wonderful, peaceful holiday 🌿☀️
We’ve just returned from a fantastic stay at the Montana Pine Hotel and honestly couldn’t fault the overall experience. The hotel is set in a beautiful, peaceful location, surrounded by nature, and one of the things we loved most was how relaxed it felt. It never felt overcrowded or overly busy, which made it the perfect place to unwind.
The hotel was exceptionally clean throughout, and the pools were excellent — clean, well maintained and a lovely place to spend the day. Our room was a little dated and could probably do with some updating, but we actually felt this added to the charm and character of the hotel rather than taking away from our stay.
The food was excellent, with plenty of choice, and the staff were absolutely lovely. Everyone was friendly, welcoming and always happy to help, which really added to the experience.
The evening entertainment wasn’t really our favourite, but this wasn’t a problem for us as we headed into town most evenings and enjoyed exploring the local area.
One small downside was that we found eating dinner outside difficult because of the wasps, so we tended to eat indoors instead.
Overall, we had a brilliant holiday and would definitely recommend the Montana Pine to anyone looking for a beautiful, peaceful and relaxing getaway. We’d happily return! ❤️
The hotel is lovely the staff is very friendly & very quick in serving you or clearing up nothing is too much bother for them.place is spotless and im ocd so that says something.surroundings are beautiful.food was fresh & varied.highyreccomend thishotel.
We opted for a private transfer booked through an external company and they were great. Same company who run the Buggy Safari (see our other review).
We arrived at around midnight and staff kindly took our suitcases to our room.
Room
The bed was comfy and 2 pillows each was enough. The air conditioning is powerful! The room quickly becomes so cold that you have to turn it off or change the temperature. Also, no extra charge for air con and it was a life saver with it being so hot in the day. The room has a safe and a small fridge. Every day the room was cleaned and given fresh towels and a bottle of water. The bathroom is a decent size and the shower is large. The crickets here are loud and if you are a lite-sleeper then we recommend taking ear plugs. The rooms are also not sound proof so you will be fine if you do not have noisy neighbours above or next door. We were ground floor.
Pools
We only used two of the 3 pools. The main pool is around 2 meters deep all over. There are pool ladders to get in and out. It is lovely and cool too! Not freezing, but refreshingly cool.
The other pool was shallower all around with a waterfall down to the main pool. Plenty sun loungers and we had no problem finding one. The hotel only allows plastic glasses around the pool which is sensible.
Food
Can not fault it. We can be fussy in that we will not eat bland or poor quality food. You can rest assured that the food here is neither. Every lunch and evening offers BBQ or grilled chicken, turkey, fish and/or beef. This is then reinvented each day into curry or casserole etc. The potatoes here are fantastic. There is always rice and French fries. One of us is vegetarian and the pasta dishes catered here. Also, lots of grilled vegetables and vegetarian dishes.
We heard a few people complaining that at breakfast there is nothing to eat! Laughable! What they mean by this is that there is no bacon and no pork sausages. This should be obvious, but sadly not to everyone!!... For breakfast there are choices of: fried eggs, omelette, boiled eggs, scrambled eggs, baked beans, toast, croissants, fruit, melted chocolate spreads, a honey comb, cereals, fried mushrooms, tomatoes, yoghurts, jams, continental meats, porridge, tea, coffee...if you define breakfast by pork products then Turkey may not be the best destination for you.
There is a snack bar but we did not use it as it is 'junk food.' We are not snobs, just that there are different qualities of junk food and this here is very poor. The 'burgers' are 1mm thin. Then there are onion rings and overcooked poor quality breadcrumbed chicken. It is a shame because the premise is good; build your own burger. It fails though because the buns are placed at the end and are mostly cheap or hard. The burgers themselves are dreadful and the garnishes are open to the elements. Our guess is this is why this area is rarely busy!
The pizza, however, looked decent.
The ice cream is lovely!
Staff and Hotel
The staff all seemed very friendly and helpful. It can not be easy working in 40 degree heat. The flowers and trees are all very beautiful. The wasps and mosquitos are a nightmare at times!
Things to consider: The hotel is half way up a mountain and the whole hotel is made up of stone walkways and somewhat steep inclines.
Check out is 12:00 midday. £50 to keep your room until 16:00 and £80 to keep the room until midnight.
The on-site shop is a rip-off. £4 for a packet of crisps.
The £10 each trip to Sugar Beach was terrible. Bus had no air con and the beach itself is meh. The main beach is better and the free shuttle bus has air con!
Overall this is a 4 star hotel and holds its own. It is well run and the food in the main restaurant is mostly excellent. You will not be hassled by entertainment people (although they are here and do a great job).
