- Grand Yazici Club Marmaris Palace

Beautifully situated amidst a lush green forest yet still less than 50 metres from a private beach, the elegant hotel Grand Yazıcı Marmaris Palace enjoys a convenient location between Içmeler, 2 km away, and Marmaris, 6 km away, where guests can board a ferry taking them to the Greek isle of Rhodes within 45 minutes. The family-friendly hotel offers accommodation for up to 5 persons in a room, and most of the rooms have sea views. Younger guests will love the mini club, playground and the children's pool, while not so young guests will appreciate the wide range of sporting facilities, including various water sports. Culinary options include an outdoor restaurant, an indoor restaurant and an à la carte restaurant on the beach. Guests can relax in the spa with sauna and massage or simply have a drink in one of the cosy bars. An ideal choice for couples and families with children wishing to spend a relaxing holiday.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
We visited this hotel in August 2026 and stayed for 10 nights. There are certainly some positives, but unfortunately, the negatives were significant enough that we would not recommend this hotel and would not return.
The positives: There are plenty of places to get food and drinks throughout the day, and the hotel has a good variety of options. Everything is within walking distance, which is very convenient. There is no traditional beach, but there is a jetty. The evening entertainment was quite good, although the daytime animation was almost non-existent.
The negatives: The biggest concern for us was the lack of safety around the pools. Children were jumping into the pools, and the lifeguards often seemed to simply laugh rather than intervene. We personally witnessed several incidents where children jumped onto other children, including one situation where a child landed on another child's head. The pool areas are also very slippery, which makes the situation even more concerning.
Another major issue was the room cleaning. During our 10-night stay, our bathroom was not cleaned even once. For four days in a row, we were left with only one towel for four people. This is simply not acceptable for a hotel stay of this length.
Overall, the hotel has some good facilities, a convenient location, and plenty of food and drink options, but the lack of proper housekeeping and, more importantly, the serious safety concerns around the pools really affected our experience. Unfortunately, despite the positives, we would not recommend this hotel or choose to stay here again.
We are currently here, go home the day after next. We were here for 12 nights. It has been a wonderful holiday so far. The hotel is charming, clean and beautiful. We are staying in a 2 bedroom apartment, which consists of 1 double and 2 singles in the other bedroom. The room has decent air conditioning, is cleaned and the mini bar is stocked every day with water, lager and cans of fizzy drinks. 1 evening the hair dryer in the room broke, we mentioned it when we went for dinner. We came back to the room 2 hours later and the whole unit had been replaced with a new one! We’ve had no problems getting sun loungers by both of the 2 bigger pools (though my husband is an early riser and is down there for 8am). The top pool has waiters on rollerblades who serve you drinks through the day. The food it plentiful and nice. We are a rather cautious family when it comes to meat, and there has been a few instances where the meat wasn’t cooked thoroughly enough for our linking, so we just didn’t eat it. It wasn’t a big bother for us-but I would recommend checking the poultry before you eat it. There are lots of cats around, they are really well cared for and add charm to the place. We love the aqua aerobics with trampolines in the water. It wasn’t great fun and the instructor was brilliant fun. They also do a sound bath in the bottom pool, this looks really lovely and tranquil. The beach is a man made shingle beach, quite sharp on the feet, but the views are stunning and you can access the sea and swim amongst the fishes!! We definitely would return here again!
great hotel great staff fantastic views hotel spa fantastic facility and Senol from the spa was very friendly and helpful
It’s OK but many faults
Stayed for a week 2 adults and 1 child
WiFi is hit and miss. Must have had to reconnect 12 or 13 times over 7 days
Restaurant/Food Good selection and variety of food
Don’t get down too late (main restaurant) In the as there is not enough tables to cater for everyone, and when there is a free table, the waitirs/waitresses just take the plates but unfortunately do not clean it (unless you ask them) having said that, they do work hard, perhaps need more help/staff - beware of stray cats eyeing up your food, saw a couple take from people’s plates whilst they looked away - very unhygienic
Pools may have just been an u lucky week, but confirmation of 3 young boys and 1 girl went down with viral bacteria bug, 2 ended up in hospital (from the main pool) If your going with your children and they are not strong swimmers, then have a long hard think about going to this hotel, there are 3 pools, the 2 main big pools have no shallow water, so unless you child is 5.4ft or over, they will have to tread water. The kids pool is basically for 1 or 2 year olds - so if you have a toddler, that would be ok Only 1 water slide
Even though there’s Life guards at every pool - they are non existent - for example, balls are kicked and end up hitting holiday makers who are relaxing on sun-beds around the pool. I saw a full size football smash into a toddlers head and had to be taken to the doctors to be checked. The life guards let the children carry on. Was only until someone told the parents and then the parents finally told the their kids to stop. Not Once did I hear a life guard blow their whistle at kids spraying strangers with their water guns in the face. I’m not being a party pooper but if you’re in the pool and getting sprayed then fine - it’s fun, but people sunbathing - not fun. My opinion life guards should step in and ask them to stop, especially when the parents fail to do so initially.
You will have to get down by the pool at around 745am to place towels on your chosen sun beds - make sure you place your own personal towels and not the hotels ones. As they are all the same and people move them, but if you have your own then they can’t do that (unless they want to get caught).
Location Beautiful scenery set in forest and mountains with breath taking views Good shading for the kids, not great if you wanna get a tan
If you’re unfit then it’s not the hotel for you - to get to the ground floor you have to walk up 42 steps. Only 3 lifts but they won’t take you to your room (unless staying in main building)- only to reception
Bar staff work hard but need help - usually a queue to get a drink as only one working
Over priced supermarket - be prepared!
Beach Man made - so not real sand, disappointed kids when realized they were stepping on stones and couldn’t build a sandcastle. In the end we just stayed by the pool.
Overall, we made do it, but unfortunately Turkey has Become to expensive and we will Not be returning, if we did, we would not be going back to this hotel.
Fabulous stay at the Grand Yazzie in August 2026. So clean and staff can’t do enough to help! Only issue is, which is the same as any other hotel in peak season, sun beds all taken by 07:30am but thankfully there is a private beach to relax at!
