Location is good for bars and restaurants near by, the hotel itself is clean and the staff were very friendly, there was chat of ants in some of the bedrooms by some at the pool. With refusal to move them room as the hotel was as full. There was a notice of extermination on the lift the day that we left so assume that they are fixing the problem. The beds really are a problem especially if you suffer from any back problems or even if you don’t you could end up with them. They are rock solid and the bedding is really rough not great after a day in the sweltering heat. Our board was bed and breakfast but we unfortunately didn’t eat breakfast once. The options are really laughable, boiled eggs, Samosas, salami, spring rolls, onion rings. Chips is genuinely all that is on offer for breakfast I wish I could say I was joking but I’m not. So even though it’s bed and breakfast if that doesn’t tickle your fancy then be prepared to buy breakfast every morning. If you booked through on the beach they send an excursion rep to You on your first day .. the prices are higher than the avg in turkey if you book say through another rep or at an office, the prices they try to charge are truly scandalous so stay clear and just do Your own research. The drinks pricing at the pool are reasonable but stay away from things like redbull as it works out £6 for a small can. Other than that everything else you could work with, probably wouldn’t return as there are better hotels for the same money.
Realy nice hotel.and the breakfast is to die for realy good breakfast it's worth getting up for great staff super market across the road great position is this hotel.
Do not book this hotel unless you want a stressful holiday! No way a 4* Lots of Turkish families tried to dominate the hotel! management blaming everyone else ( the English )charging £4 sometimes for a bottle of water no entertainment when advertised there will be room was filthy when we arrived Manager was very rude to adults and children breakfast absolutely disgusting!
Avoid, avoid avoid!!!!
Do not stay at this hotel.been to Marmaris for the last 12 years and I can say this is the worst hitel if the lot.our grandchildren got into an altercation at the poolside with a Turkish kid and the manager blamed us the British saying it was his fault totally defended the Turkish kids family there was numerous families that seen the altercation and all said the Turkish kids totally started it and my grandson was just defending himself.the manager would not let me see the cctv and he said I had to go to the police which is totally unacceptable as the person of interest has a right to see it by law.the manager and his team discriminate against us because of our nationality.totally unacceptable in 2026
Also the price of the drinks is extortion almost paying double and some cases treble at the hotel bar.no wonder the bar was always empty
We recently completed a 7-night stay at Club Viva as two families traveling together with children. While there were major issues with management and facilities, I want to start by giving well-deserved praise to Mehmet at reception. He was incredibly cooperative, proactive, and efficient at resolving our issues—including contacting Love Holidays directly and arranging for our rep to visit so we could get a refund for a canceled buggy trip. Mehmet’s professionalism and dedication were outstanding and a rare highlight of our stay. Unfortunately, the rest of our experience fell far short of acceptable standards: Spa Services & Hygiene: We were badgered into booking massages on our first day, only to find the facilities uncomfortable and unhygienic. The massage table headrest was improperly fitted and painful, and the towels provided were hard, crusty, and foul-smelling. When I raised this with the manager the next day, he completely brushed off my concerns. Overcharged Poolside Meal: My son had a light lunch at the pool bar with his sister and friend, only to be charged £54—a price vastly higher than what was displayed on the menu. Unfair Room Charges: We emailed back in June requesting rooms on the same floor for our two families, which went entirely ignored. When I called prior to arrival, I was told the hotel was full. Although they managed to place us on the same floor when we arrived, they charged us an extra £70 just to honor the request. Unprofessional Management & Pool Incident: When an altercation broke out between children in the pool area, my friend asked the manager to step in for safety. Instead of handling the situation, he was remarkably abrupt and simply told her to "calm down." While Mehmet on reception was fantastic and did an incredible job advocating for us, the overall poor management, hygiene issues, and extra charges mean we would not recommend this hotel to other families.
