Pasabey Hotel

Location was a bit further out than we thought it would be quite a way to go to the beach the environment the pool area though very clean far too many sunbeds climbed in together but you could never get one because people were down at 6 o’clock in the morning, putting towels on for the day and the hotel did nothing about this full of people smoking all around. You didn’t matter at at least 95% of the people that we were with were smoke that we were at the hotel were smoking which was as a non-smoker and cancer ex cancer suffer was not very nice at all. Our room was only cleaned voluntarily four times in the whole week we were there three times we had to phone down to reception to request towels, water and room to be made up. We went out all day one day very early in the morning cause we went on the trip and when we came back, the room was still not done and not cleaned the food was excellent. That’s the only thing really that you couldn’t complain about was the food that was very very nice and plenty of it the older guy on the reception his name escapes me now was absolutely amazing. Nothing was too much trouble for him. He helped us in every way possible and was very proactive and active. When anything asked for I say the hotel is clean. The rooms are comfortable. It’s the atmosphere and the environment around the pool and location that I was not completely happy with I would not return to this hotel.

We have just got back from a wonderful 11 night stay at the Pasa Bey hotel and we were thoroughly impressed with it from start to finish. The hotel is in an ideal location for us- set back from the beachfront and the hustle and bustle of the resort, but only a ten to fifteen minute walk there. This gave us the perfect balance as most days we did decide to have a walk into the town or go to the beach, but when we stayed at the hotel it was quiet and relaxing with minimal noise, especially in the evenings.

The hotel was spotlessly clean and our room was great and ideal for its purpose. A lot of the reviews on here mention the room size being quite small, and it is true that the rooms aren't massive or overly spacious, but as we were spending minimal time in the room anyway, this wasn't an issue. It had all the facilities we required, including free use of the safe, and bottled water restocked daily by the housekeeping team. The room was also cleaned daily, including changing the towels and the bedding, which we thought was excellent. The air conditioning was good and worked fine. We also had a spacious balcony overlooking the mountains.

We are both quite adventurous eaters and we found the restaurant to be very impressive at all mealtimes. There was always something different to try, and a massive array of choice from salads, to fresh vegetables, hot dishes and soups, as well as a lovely selection of desserts every day. We did discuss that if you are a fussy eater, or don't like salads/veg then you might struggle to find something different every day, but that's not the hotel's fault and in my opinion doesn't warrant a complaint. It's your own fault if you don't like the food, and at the end of the day you're in Turkey, not the UK. If you want a full English breakfast there are plenty of places in the resort which sell this at a reasonable price. And if you want chips and pizza, that is available every day. The afternoon snack bar also provided burgers and chicken nuggets/goujons every day.

The pool was lovely and not too busy. We never had a problem getting a sunbed because we read the notices and realised we should be prepared to reserve one with our towel around 7:30-8am. So we did. Again, I don't think it's fair to criticise the hotel because you struggled to get a sunbed when you didn't get up until 9-10am. It goes without saying you should be prepared to get up early if you want one for the day.

We thought all the staff were very friendly and welcoming, and were very efficient at all times. We were always made to feel very welcome and at ease and nothing was too much trouble. The entertainment was also very well organised, and not too intrusive, so we always had the choice to opt out if we didn't fancy it, and we didn't hear any excessive noise from our room in the evenings.

Overall we had an amazing holiday and stay here, and we both thought it was excellent value for money. We knew what to expect for the hotel rating, and we thought it was fantastic for what it is and for the price we paid for our holiday. We would definitely return!

In middle of local apartments and houses , 15 mins walk to anywhere, entertainment is awful 1 guy on his own very few activities a lot of days none ! Evening entertainment over 10 day was just bingo and 1 dance act and karaoke one night, all music goes off at 10.30pm and music play list is same 10 songs all day every day. Food is decent enough bar is terrible about 5 different drink on all inclusive and it’s rank a lot of people bringing there own. Rooms very small and dated beds comfy and clean only up side would not return not enough seats for everyone so had to go out 7 nights out of 10 due to nowhere to sit. All round very poor 15 times been Marmaris and defo worst place we have stayed rooms are very small with buildings as a view or a wall. Do your research and don’t waste your money here there are a lot better for same money hotel is 70% Dutch Russian and a few English everyone we met had same issues
