Sunrise Hotel

I booked a week Bed and Breakfast, first time I have stayed at this hotel .The hotel was and service from staff was excellent, I arrived late at night the night reception man was very friendly and explain very thing about the hotel.

The choice of food was excellent at the breakfast at the hotel chef made great omelettes.

I will return to this hotel on future holidays to Marmaris

A last minute booking for us, 14 nights with Jet2 holidays. Having not been to Turkey before we relied on reviews to pick our hotel. This one appealed as it was bed & breakfast as we like to do our own thing in the evening and experience different restaurants. So based on what we read we chose Sunrise. And it did not disappoint. I would describe the hotel as a small boutique style of hotel with only 4 floors. Located directly on the promenade with access to its own private piece of sand/shale beach. The front of the hotel is set back off the main Marmaris strip with plenty of free parking. It has a large pool deck with plenty of sun loungers which have excellent comfortable cushions on them. Not once in the 14 days did we struggle to get a sun lounger by the pool, there are also plenty on the beach. The pool is a nice size, 1.5 metres deep. The water initially is quite cold but once in it brings perfect relief from the hot sun. The rooms are a nice size, nicely furnished, modern and absolutely spotless. Nice balcony, ours had a sea view looking at Marmaris marina. The bathroom, again very modern, sink, toilet, hairdryer, toiletries and a large shower which was probably one of the most powerful I have ever experienced with plentiful hot water. The included breakfast is a buffet, with so much choice you could dine for hours! Special mention goes to the chef who is an expert at producing egg dishes to perfection and may I say a thoroughly nice gentleman. The hotel does not provide an evening dining option which suited us as we like to dine out. There is however food available at the pool area during the day until 5pm and is very popular. Here the food choice is extensive and if you like pizza you must try their bolognese variety, it is stunning. The centre of activity is the pool bar, which is expertly staffed by people who cannot do enough for you. Choice of drinks is extensive and cocktails are excellent. The bar is open every night until midnight. The hotel has a couple of quirks for such a nice and expertly run establishment. The in-room digital safe has a charge of £1 a night for its use. Pool towels have to be collected from reception and if you want them changed there is a charge. My recommendation would be to bring your own or go across the road to the many shops that sell them cheaply. But I would also add here that this is the only hotel that I have stayed in that changes the bed linen daily. The whole place is spotless. We spoke to several guests who just keep returning to the hotel, some several times a year, they love it that much. For us it was a perfect chilled out and relaxing holiday. What makes this hotel is its staff. They are excellent. Would we return? See you next year.
