See you next year !!
Just returned home from a fantastic 10 day break at the Montebello Resort. The food was exactly what you’d expect from cost, but the fruit and salad were amazing. All the staff were helpful and polite. The animation team were very good , but a big shout out to Luke who made us feel welcome from day 1. The rooms are cleaned every day and the restaurant staff are unbelievable. You have to venture out and explore the beautiful scenery and tours the you can do. Thank you , and see you next year ….. Luke, Arthur and Pool bar lady are amazing!
Had a really good time here with my girlfriend! We stayed at room 4412 between 19 September till 26 September. I don’t usually leave reviews but just wanted to say that Luke the entertainer was absolutely brilliant and amazing! He made us feel so welcome, and made us do things we never thought we would. He is absolutely incredible at his job and what he does and deserves all the credit. Also want to say that Arthur was really nice too and the lady behind the pool bar was lovely remembered our drinks from the first day. Out of all the holidays we have been on, these guys have been the best staff we have had experience with! Thank you so much for making this holiday and Olu Deniz an amazing time for us. Once again Luke you are a legend! Good luck at your University!
Great stay
Just wanted to say we had a wonderful 10 day stay at the Montebello Resort. Food was good, always something new to try, fresh fruit and salad was lovely. Room was clean and spacious. Entertainment staff were very good, especially Luke. We loved the beach party trip. We will be back.
Clean hotel , nice pool, friendly staff. Cocktail drinks awful ,ok if you like larger
We found the hotel was very clean , our room cleaned very well. Pool area is very nice and the entertainment good. Food was ok , but found the cakes were all full of cream, and didn’t seem very cold . The pizza and fresh omelet making was very good . The hotel looked like it had a good cocktail list , but we soon found out why not a lot of people were drinking cocktails. The mixer that was used for them was far too strong . The mixers were so concentrated it was impossible to drink . Apple juice concentrate etc was terrible , we did speak to the barman and he agreed with us. He actually warned us when we asked for just an orange juice . We aren’t heavy drinkers , but would have liked a drinkable cocktail each night . If you like larger you will be ok . Shame this let the hotel down as the staff seem aware of the problem. The payable bar is worth going to at night , very good service and chilled atmosphere. The swim up rooms look lovely . A bus stop is convenient, just a short walk outside the hotel. There are two gorgeous cats that seem to belong to the hotel . We arrived very late at night and were given a couple of rolls to eat . We liked the hotel but the drinks let it down, will try a different hotel next year .
