What was good was good, what was poor was poor…..

Please read it all. I know it’s long. I was really wanting to like this hotel. We booked it Friday and flew Wednesday as our holiday to France was cancelled due the fires unfortunately, there were a few things holding me back. What was good, was really good but somethings were niggling at us. We paid considerably more than what others have said the paid for 1 week and told we could not upgrade or have late check out I have had better for the price in other areas of Turkey. Happy to pay more than what I paid if it’s right. They need more staff and some modernisation.
WiFi - excellent Pool clean - very good- apart from a Phantom Pool Pooper one day so it got shut down😂 Room was ok, shower was powerful and hot. Ice Cream area good choice. Pool bar staff good, fill a Stanley Cup to last. Towels for pool - excellent service. Pearl snack bar - this was best area for food in my opinion. Top bar by reception was good. In terms of quality and wait. Never wait long for a lift Link to waterpark is great. Plenty of sunbeds - if people can actually walk a small distance to find them. Not up early to get a bed. Pier is lovely to see the sunset. They look after the cats and dogs around the hotel Nice selection of shops on site.
Poor Towels on sunbeds all day and not used, a row of nine towels which nobody would move after an argument the day before. But hotel says will be removed if empty for two hours. Nope. People putting sunbeds in walk ways stopping buggy’s or disabled getting through to the pool. They should be told to move down to the empty areas. It causes frustration for some. Pool side VERY slippery, Need more wardrobe space for a family room. Main restaurant - quality of meat and quantity of some food generally. Some staff are good but some move at the same pace as sloth making the ques huge. Pancake and fried eggs especially in the morning, meaning the evening. People at meal times filling plates with everything that was available leaving nothing for others and staff not questioning. I mean with an EXCESSIVE amount of food. Some food was OK but very hit or miss. Both myself and daughter were poorly diarrhea and sickness and son had tummy ache. We don’t drink alcohol so nothing to do with that. MY SON IS CURRENTLY IN A&E with severe sickness just 24hrs after leaving and arriving home. Others had this too. Because there was not enough food, apart from salad, fruit, bread which was alway full you would get your meat and wait ages for something else making it cold it vise versa. Some food was out and crusty. Never had evening meal at a hotel where there is not drink service to the table, only the last day were we offered this. Had to get our own in the smallest of glasses. As not enough staff dirty plates left around which does help flies. Beds are rock hard. Had items stolen from pool area Luggage room is just an open room at the front of hotel for anyone to take your luggage! Sliding doors in bedroom were filthy. Pool entertainment could be invested in, polo or one other game which is essentially the same game repeated. Steak house, food needed to be warmer and considering it’s a steak house the steak was not cooked right. Staff were very good though and offered to replace them but I was over it by that point with evening food. Nice jacket potatoes. Give me the chicken and rice at the Pearl every time.

Excellent kids club - Croco's kids club
The Kids Club is absolutely!!!! My daughter had a brilliant time. Hassan, Nisan & Pinar were so lovely and great with the kiddos. They make the kids feel special and are well looked after.

Aqua fantasy waterpark hotel
Amazing Aqua Fantasy Experience We have just had the most amazing stay at Aqua Fantasy Water Park Hotel in Kuşadası! 🌴☀️💦 From the moment we arrived, everything was absolutely fantastic. The water park is incredible, the food was delicious, the hotel was beautiful, and there was so much to do for both adults and children. It really is the perfect family holiday destination! ❤️ A special mention has to go to the amazing bartender Barbaros 🍹 — he was absolutely brilliant! So friendly, welcoming and always went above and beyond to make sure we were looked after. He really made our holiday that bit more special! We also want to say a huge thank you to our Travel Advisor, Busrazkl ⭐. She was fantastic, so helpful and made sure everything was taken care of. Having staff like Barbaros and Busrazkl is what makes a holiday truly memorable. We honestly cannot recommend Aqua Fantasy Water Park Hotel enough. We have made some amazing memories here and would absolutely love to come back! 🥰🌊 10/10 from us — an incredible family holiday! ❤️🌴💦
Avoid and run the other way
Location no mans land nowt eles but a hotel to go into town is 30 mins in a taxi £20 there £20 back , to be hassled by shop ppl theatre sell all same stuff , the taxis , ring the ppl in the shops and inform them ppl on the way to they hassle you soon as ur taxis open , atmosphere is terrible staff are rude unpleasant, says can exchange money here you cant you have go into town ,rooms we booked family room, bed is rock solid and I mean solid we complained they fetched us a mattress topper which is thin , so bad bks for 10 days , air con is rubbish , fridge is never topped up , drinks are vile , ice cream shop hardly open £18 for bucket an spade, sea water is disgusting full of broken items legs cans , bottles , weeds , water is brown , beach sand is dark brown and hard not allowed drinks from beach bar as says itsl belongs to blue hotel which there run by same company , food is bland , boring spaghetti boll every night ques are ridiculous for meat and when I say meat dosnt everln taste like meat , cats and dogs roaming round freely in main restaurants madness 😠, and they are strays so prob covered in fleas , eatting off the tables and staff d9nt even get them off , staff look not bothered again rude , cleaner cleaners about 6am banging around can hear all morning , entertainment watched 2 good shows for 40 mins thats it karaoke 1 hour only , sick drinking same fizzy pop cos thats all they have , foods on but always same stuff , 6.5k wasted this hotel needs maintance the pool area missing parasol parts ppl allowed put towels on beds so u can never just walk down get a pool bed its so slippy the floor and tiles sticking out , the kids pool bit with 3 slides is so swallow and hurts ur bum when coming off slides, kids club wouldn't recommend , rubbish, my daughter went and cried when picked her up refused to go bk , list is endless with problems , never ever again
WASTED THOUSANDS NEVER AGAIN
Absolutely shocking we honestly feel trapped in this place basically stuck in the middle of nowhere cannot go for walks as there is nowhere to walk too other than a £20 taxi ride into kusidasi which there you get mithered to the high heavens to buy fake stuff every single place you pass its one after the other my blood was boiling the food is the same every night no variety was told duck would be 10 mins to go back to be told finished they cater more for Turkish families as half the food I’ve never seen in my life if you want to go home with a broken back and no sleep then this hotel is the one for you there are not enough spaces for sun beds around the pool if all existing are taken I’m sure people camp there as you can never get a bed kids club is terrible not very exciting now I’m stuck with a moaning 11 year old the shows have been good in the evening but only for an hour after that it’s a rave party with strobe lights which then once again kids moaning so finding ourselves back in the room at 10:30 I’ve never paid £3.50 for a game of pool in all my life also what a joke oh and to top it off £15 on a bucket and spade in the hotel shop is ridiculous to be told GOOD QUALITY it’s a bit of plastic that won’t be coming home with us either spa was ok you basically have to spend money to have a bit of relaxation never again with this place if you want a broken back eat bad greasy food and sit on the toilet then this hotel is for you but for me I’m over £6k down the drain and was trying to sort out other flights home .
