Cocoon Maldives is the epitome of barefoot luxury. A 5-star resort located on the island of Ookolhufinolhu in the Lhaviyani Atoll, it blends contemporary Italian design with the natural beauty of the Maldives. Surrounded by white sandy beaches and crystal-clear waters, the resort was designed by the award-winning Italian design firm LAGO, with interiors that open out to the beach, lagoon, and sea.
Guests are invited to enjoy a wide range of facilities throughout their stay. There are three restaurants offering diverse dining experiences. The Octopus Restaurant serves international buffet meals with live cooking stations, while Manta Restaurant offers à la carte fine dining in a romantic lagoon setting. For something unique, the Japanese Garden delivers authentic Japanese flavors in a rustic, tropical setting. There are also two bars: Loabi Loabi Pool Bar, perfect for social evenings, and Kurum-Bar, ideal for relaxed sunset drinks.
Guests can unwind by the resort’s outdoor swimming pool or indulge in treatments at The Spa, which features a sauna, steam room, outdoor spa tub, and a variety of therapies from around the world. The resort also offers a PADI-certified dive centre, a range of water sports, and a fully equipped indoor and outdoor gym. Daily activities include yoga, pilates, aqua aerobics, along with live entertainment and cultural shows.

Beach Villas offer stunning views of the ocean and come with a flat-screen TV, minibar, tea/coffee making facilities, sitting area, telephone, and complimentary Wi-Fi. The open-plan bathrooms feature a shower, WC with bidet, and double vanities, all within a stylish, air-conditioned space. For added indulgence, guests can upgrade to a Beach Suite with Plunge Pool or a Lagoon Suite with Jacuzzi.

Holiday Paradise
Wow what an amazing, beautiful island. Cocoon Maldives is Paradise! We had 2 water villas as family of 4 and they were amazing! From the moment we landed on our seaplane we were so well looked after not only by our Island host Munni but all staff who were exceptional and always went above and beyond to make our holiday so memorable- name some of the amazing staff- Ahu, Kashish , Roja, Dunga, Nazim, Victor, Kisar, Gopal and the one other person in the Lobi Lobi bar whose name I have forgotten!! Special thanks to Ahu for all the special arrangements and Chef Uday for the delicious vegetarian dishes created especially for us. The excursions are a must to see turtles, sharks , sting rays and all the other amazing sea life! Rebecca and her team are amazing and keen to promote conservation and protect marine life. Hospitality is what makes this place so special- would love to visit again!

We have returned to Cocoon Maldives three times in just twelve months, and one of the reasons we keep coming back is Nauf. His kindness, willingness to help and warm, welcoming manner make every stay truly special. Thanks to him, we always feel welcome and look forward to returning. I can honestly say that other hotels can only envy Cocoon for having someone like Nauf on their team. It is people like him who turn a wonderful holiday into an experience we remember with a smile long after we leave. Dear Nauf, thank you for everything! This was already our third stay at Cocoon Maldives, and there is a very good reason why we keep coming back. 🏝️💙 We absolutely love this beautiful island and once again, we were extremely happy with our entire stay. Everything was wonderful, and Cocoon truly feels like a special place that we are always happy to return to.
A very special thank you goes to Nauf, who made our stay even more exceptional. 🙏❤️ He was always available whenever we needed anything and helped us with absolutely everything. What made it even more special was that our communication with Nauf started long before we arrived – already while we were still at home planning and choosing our holiday. Our stay at Cocoon Maldives was truly unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, the quality of the service was exceptional and the entire staff made us feel incredibly welcome.
A very special thank you to our Island Host, Effy, who was always kind, helpful and attentive throughout our stay. She made everything easier and ensured that we could simply relax and enjoy every moment.
The entertainment was also fantastic, and Akram deserves a special mention for his energy, friendliness and the great atmosphere he created.
I also want to thank Mode, Thoriq, Anish, Adda and the other boys. They welcomed me so warmly and allowed me to join them for football in the late afternoons. Those games became some of my favourite memories from the island. They made me feel like part of the team rather than just a guest, and that meant a lot to me.
The resort itself is beautiful, the service is excellent, and what really makes Cocoon special is its people.
We absolutely loved our experience and leave with amazing memories and new friends. We will definitely be back! ❤️🇲🇻
