Ideally located on the east coast, nestled in the beautiful Trou d'Eau Douce bay, the hotel faces the paradisiacal Ile aux Cerfs, offering free boat shuttles from the hotel jetty, and is also close to the Blue Bay Marine Reserve, well positioned to offer a range of interesting marine expeditions. Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam International Airport is situated approximately 49 km from the residence.
Cosy, warm and convivial are the attributes that best describe this hotel, a place where guests, many of them regulars, feel at home, among friends, and would not contemplate going anywhere else. Its relatively small size, with only 58 rooms available, makes for a very special friendly, family-like atmosphere. Fully air-conditioned, it offers a 24-hour reception, a bar, restaurant, Internet access (for a fee) and room service.
The hotel's main rooms are decorated in local style and comfortably arranged with large beds. Each room has a balcony or terrace, looking out directly over the beach and the lagoon. There are also 2 larger family rooms, set back slightly for added privacy but still close to the beach. Their terraces overlook the garden and its lush, tropical plants. The en suite bathrooms in all accommodation are fitted with a shower and hairdryer. In-room amenities include a double bed, a direct dial telephone, satellite/cable TV, Internet access, a safe, minibar and individually regulated air conditioning.
A local band entertains guests during the evening and once a week there is a special Sega show, when visitors can discover the music and rhythms traditional to Mauritius in a flamboyant whirl of sound and colour. The hotel offers guests use of an outdoor swimming pool, sun terrace with sun loungers laid out for use and various sport facilities such as windsurfing, canoeing, pedal boating, darts, volleyball, bocce, golf and biking. Entertainment programmes are available for adults.

Memorable Birthday Week end at Tropical Attitude
We had a wonderful stay at Tropical Attitude Hotel from 25–29 September to celebrate my husband’s birthday. A heartfelt thank you to the entire team for making our stay so memorable. ❤️
We especially appreciated the included outing to Île aux Cerfs, the delicious local food, the lovely atmosphere, and the great variety offered at the buffet. Everything contributed to making this birthday getaway truly special.

Wonderful 2 weeks made special by staff
A wonderful two weeks, made special by amazing staff We’ve just returned from a wonderful two weeks in Mauritius, staying at Tropical Attitude, and had such a lovely holiday. We stayed in a standard double room. It was simple but had everything we needed, with a comfortable bed and a room that was kept clean and tidy throughout our stay. We ate in the restaurant for breakfast, lunch and dinner and had no complaints. Breakfast offered a good selection of breads, fruit, eggs and the usual options. Lunch was à la carte, with pizzas, burgers, salads, sandwiches and pasta, all freshly cooked and prepared to your liking. The evening buffet included dishes such as rice, chicken and fish. Food is always down to personal taste, but we enjoyed it and never struggled to find something to eat. The biggest highlight, alongside the all-inclusive drinks, was the staff. Every single person we came across was friendly, polite and happy to help. They remembered our faces, always made us feel welcome and took the time to answer any questions. They are an absolute credit to the hotel and really made our stay special. The hotel also offers complimentary boat transfers to Île aux Cerfs twice a day. It’s a lovely place to relax in the sunshine with a picnic basket, or try the water activities available there. The complimentary snorkelling and glass-bottom boat trips were another great bonus. The atmosphere was peaceful and relaxed. Even though the hotel was fully occupied, you would never have known it—it never felt crowded. Thank you, Tropical Attitude, for a wonderful holiday, and a massive thank you to all your staff for making it such a happy and memorable two weeks!

Satisfactory Hotel with lovely staff
Fairly quiet adults only resort Nicely situated by the ocean with a view from economy rooms also private villas with a pool availability Modern and spacious with one big enough swimming pool,shop,restaurant and other food outlets.No overcrowding activities arranged by the hotel daily like boat trips ,snorkelling,cooking creole food and more Evening entertainment was provided like small bands and singers and traditional dance.Only criticism is that it shuts down at 21:30-22:00 which most holiday makers found themselves going back to their rooms very early.Reception are very helpful with any needs you have from taxis to days out with a hire car Restaurant and bar staff extremely helpful and polite and ask how you are enjoying your holiday every chance they get,There’s a shop for souvenirs and general convenience if you run out of toothpaste or deodorant etc But windy in August so would recommend visiting in December which is supposedly their hottest month Dint forget to book a massage with the spa starting at around £60 for 75 mins very relaxing and enjoyable
