The Lagoon Attitude is located on the north coast of Mauritius in Anse La Raie, overlooking one of the island’s largest lagoons. The hotel edges a protected coast on the north side of the island and is reserved for adults only, offering a chilled seaside vibe. Lagoon Attitude is resolutely eco-committed.
Guests' looking to relax can bathe by one of the hotel's 3 swimming pools, or enjoy a treatment at the hotels Spa POZ, which offers a great selection of treatments using 100% natural – and locally made – products. For those looking for something a bit livelier, there is evening entertainment up to 5 times a week, and DJ parties including a beach part, or pool party.
There is plenty on offer at the hotel to keep you busy throughout the day including tennis, beach volley, a fitness centre, board games, and yoga for beginners. For those looking to make use out of the crystal blue waters, why not take part in a full day catamaran trip*, PADI diving*, kayaking, snorkelling, or kite surfing (nearby).
There are 182 rooms at the hotel, some with an outdoor Jacuzzi, and traditional Mauritian architecture blends with contemporary beach decor to create a paradise for nature and sea lovers. Each room is complete with free wi-fi, a telephone, electronic safe, hair dryer, tea and coffee making facilities and air conditioning.
There is a choice of three very different atmospheres, depending on whether you are looking for fun or peaceful holiday moments. The Otentik (authentic) area with its Mauritian restaurants; the lively area with its ocean facing Seabreeze Bar; and a peaceful area hosting an infinity pool and a gastronomic restaurant. Dining here is in tune with nature, so you will find a choice of seasonal and locally grown produce on your plate. If you are on a half board basis or higher, the Dine Around experience allows you to try three out of the five hotel restaurants. The staff, known as Family Members, will go above and beyond to look after every guest throughout their stay here – they are a true reflection of warm Mauritian hospitality.
Lagoon Attitude is Travelife Gold and Made in Moris certified for its continuous efforts towards social and environmental sustainability practices. The hotel lives and breathes Attitude Hotels’ Positive Impact movement. From a ban on single-use plastics in its guest experience to its self-service Bulk Shop, everything has been thought about here when it comes to sustainability. Guests can visit the Marine Discovery Centre to learn about the lagoon and marine life conservation projects, join an eco-workshop or pick up a blue net bag to help collect any litter seen while exploring the snorkelling trail or walking along the coast.

A little bit of paradise
We have just returned from 10 nights here. We had a fantastic holiday in what can only be described as paradise.
On arrival we were greeted with a welcome drink and cold towel which was lovely after a long travel. Whilst our room was being sorted we were shown to the main buffet restaurant. The choice of food in here was great.
We visited all of the à la carte restaurants but the lemongrass asian stood out as the best and was our favourite, we actually went here twice as enjoyed it so much.
The amount of sun beds available all day is great, no reserving beds or sun bed wars. You could turn up whenever you were ready and get a sun bed on the beach or around one of the pools. Daily beach towel change was also a great addition too.
The staff were phenomenal, nothing was too much trouble. They were very attentive with drinks at the wave bar.
We enjoyed the glass bottom boat and pedallo boats too. It was great being able to use the water sports whenever you wished, no booking required for most things.
Our room was clean every day to a high standard. No complaints at all. Plenty of room to store clothing and hand things up. My only advice would be to include an outside drying area as wet clothes didn’t dry very well on the line installed in the shower.
The only negative to our stay was the gala dinner on the Wednesday evening. It was a bit chaotic. A member of waiting staff showed us around the buffet restaurant looking hopelessly for a table for around 5 minutes. We were then told to get our food while they cleaned a table. We then waited around 15 minutes to have our drinks order taken at dinner. To me, you should be shown your table, have your drinks order taken and then be able to enjoy the buffet at your leisure.
PS, if you like to use a straw in your drink, pack your own as they aren’t available at the hotel due to being environmentally friendly.

Our Stay at Lagoon Attitude, Mauritius
We had the most amazing stay at Lagoon Attitude in Mauritius, and it made our 40th birthday celebrations one to remember! From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel so welcome by the incredibly friendly and helpful staff.
There was so much to enjoy during our stay. We loved being able to make the most of the activities, especially playing tennis, kayaking, snorkelling, going to the gym and enjoying the pedal boats. There was always something to do, but equally plenty of opportunities to relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings.
The food was absolutely outstanding. The à la carte restaurants were amazing, especially Lemongrass, which served delicious Asian-inspired food. The buffet was honestly the best we have ever experienced, with so much choice and every dish packed full of flavour. And the desserts were simply incredible — definitely the best we have ever had! The street food was another highlight and was absolutely delicious.
Our room was super clean and comfortable, and the whole hotel was beautifully looked after. What really stood out, though, was the staff. Everyone was so warm, friendly and welcoming, which made our experience even more special.
We couldn't have asked for a better place to celebrate our 40th birthdays. Lagoon Attitude gave us an unforgettable holiday filled with amazing food, wonderful activities and fantastic memories. We would absolutely recommend it and would love to return!

We booked half‑board. That was enough for us. We had the opportunity to dine at the buffet restaurant and, with prior booking, at restaurants with à la carte service (but please note that Lemongrass charges a separate fee and is not included in the half‑board package. The same goes for sodas, alcoholic beverages, etc., at dinners and breakfasts in all restaurants. You will be charged separately for them upon check‑out). . We booked the most ordinary room. At first, we were assigned a room on the ground floor, and it was very damp. And it differed from the photos on Booking: it was small and uncomfortable. We asked to be moved to another room with the same level of comfort, and we were given a luxurious room on the third floor with a view of the tennis and paddle court and even a partial view of the sea. Moreover, they apologized for the inconvenience and gave us a bottle of champagne and a note of apology. It was unexpected and pleasant. The hotel is good. We were impressed by the free entertainment options: snorkeling, a boat with a transparent bottom, kayaks, stand‑up paddleboards, catamarans, and windsurfing. It’s very interesting to swim in different directions and explore the public beaches nearby. We also liked the fact that you’re trusted and can return the equipment when you’re done with it without time limits. The food is tasty and varied. If you’re missing certain fruits, you can ask the chefs, and they’ll bring them to you. There are many dogs and cats on the premises; they are harmless, you can feed and pet them — no one will judge you for it. Lagoon attitude. This is a very beautiful green hotel that pays special attention to environmental issues. Instead of a million plastic bottles, there are taps with plain and sparkling water on the premises. And in the amphitheater, they made a wonderful chandelier out of bottle caps (apparently from bottles of previous generations). It’s nice that people want to keep the island as incredibly green and beautiful as nature intended. Because garbage is the root problem of the disappearance of this paradise on Earth. We liked everything, and we would be happy to come back here again.

We had a wonderful family holiday at Lagoon Attitude! From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming and helpful. Their kindness and excellent service made our stay so easy, comfortable and enjoyable.
The service was truly outstanding, and the environment was absolutely superb beautiful, peaceful and perfect for a relaxing family getaway.
A special thank you to the entire team for making our holiday so memorable. The staff really went the extra mile to make us feel welcomed and well cared for throughout our stay.
We enjoyed every moment and were very impressed by the hospitality. Lagoon Attitude is definitely a place we would highly recommend to families looking for a fantastic holiday experience.

The most incredible honeymoon
This hotel massively gives 5 star. We went for 10 days for our honeymoon and it couldn’t have been more special.
The food is incredible! We booked into every single restaurant and they were all outstanding (easy to book just do it your first day). As a vegetarian I have never been so well catered for- vegan sausages in the buffet every morning and atleast 3 options in the restaurants for dinner which is basically unheard of in a usual all inclusive). Even the buffet was amazing but for lunch you have to go to Taba-J!
Our room was big with a lovely balcony. They kept it very clean every day.
The facilities were incredible. 2 beautiful pools, lots of bars with lovely bartenders making beautiful drinks. The beach is so special, it’s really gorgeous! The boat house was great- make sure to book into to as much as fin can thats included. We went on a pedelo and the glass bottom boat and we also went diving twice (extra but worth it). The divers were so skilled and Pascal was very kind when I was nervous. We saw sea turtles both days!
Make sure to book into the spa (extra but again, worth it)! We had a hot oil massage and a facial and both were great!
The best part of the hotel was the staff. I have never met a group of more kind, attentive staff members. A special shout out the Henna and Reena. Henna kept us in drinks with such a lovely smile every day and night and Reena helped us get a second booking at Kot Nou so I could try their full vegetarian menu which was totally worth it.
I really cannot recommend this place enough. Me and my husband are not the type to return to hotels or places, usually opting to see more of the world but we will be back to Lagoon. Thankyou again everyone there for the most incredible honeymoon.
