Dining at night, looking out over the ocean and taking your time over the delicious fresh food has to be a highlight of any holiday, and it's something you can enjoy throughout your stay at the Veranda Paul and Virgine Hotel when you dine at the Isle de France main restaurant, a buffet restaurant featuring international and traditional Mauritian dishes. The beach restaurant, offers incredible seafood dishes and Veranda Resorts’ signature dishes and also features a beach bar. The main bar overlooks Gran Gaube lagoon and is the perfect place to wind down in the evening.
The beach is a big part of holidays to Mauritius, and guests at the Veranda Paul and Virgine Hotel have access to one of the prettiest - so much sun, so much soft white sand...
There are two excellent swimming pools at the heart of the resort. And some very elegant, very comfortable sunbeds set up around the hotel, so you can claim your place in the sun and top up your Mauritius tan.
There's a real emphasis on comfort in all of the comfort rooms with a balcony or terrace offering magnificent sea views. Rooms are all air-conditioned, en suite and have a ceiling fan, satellite TV, telephone, minibar, safe, tea & coffee making facilities and hairdryer. All rooms feature free Wi-Fi.

Beautiful hotel
It was a beautiful hotel and very nice personnel. I wish that people would respect the rules about not reserving sun beds, because there were a lot of times where we couldn’t enjoy the sun or pool because of that. It was also kind of weird to be asking for our allergies and never using that information for anything. I had to ask for oatmilk everytime because I am lactose intolerant. Other than that it was a nice hotel, with great food and beautiful view.

Excellent service provided by the staff. Lovely buffet both for breakfast and dinner. Beautiful view from the rooms.
Relaxing, peaceful stay!
Relaxing stay with amazing views, and sea facing rooms. Very clean and loved the towel art in the rooms! (however sometimes birds/ants and other animals around during eating which may put people off but we did not mind). Food was very tasty and a variety of options however not very large buffet and no vegetarian labels which was slightly frustrating. Drinks were not great - all inclusive cocktails I did not enjoy and not much choice of alcohol, plus ice coffee was an extra charge which I think was a bit of a rip off! Water not provided at pool so take your own water bottle to fill up at the machine. Always plenty of sunbeds and beach towels provided, good water sports but the snorkelling from the hotel beach you did not get great views however plenty of other free activities. Weather was cloudy and raining some days however not for very long and the sun did come out every day! It was based in a little fishing village and we did not explore much, free shuttle to Grand Baie however this was more run down than we expected and beach was nice but similar to hotel beach. Mainly very quiet but road outside could be loud on a morning and wake us up as well as the birds but overall peaceful.
Most servers very friendly however sometimes felt service could be better and staff not as welcoming in the other restaurant but the food here was lovely.
Overall would recommend this hotel if looking for a peaceful, charming relaxing stay with great views. If looking for an amazing all inclusive package I would not recommended, however we still enjoyed our stay very much!

I had a wonderful lunch at Veranda Paul et Virginie. The delicious food, excellent service and lovely atmosphere made it a thoroughly enjoyable experience.
A special thank you to Yudish Sahai for the warm welcome and attentive service. Your hospitality made the afternoon even more memorable.
I would happily return and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a lovely lunch in a welcoming setting!
