Wonderful stay at the Hilton and the best vacation experience we’ve ever had!
We traveled from the U.S. via South Africa to gorgeous Mauritius and fell in love with the island and the beautiful Hilton. Our only regret is that we couldn’t stay longer! The staff at this resort are top notch! They genuinely care about the guest experience and will do everything they can to make your stay enjoyable and stress-free. From small things like providing a converter when we realized we needed one and bigger things like when our credit card was giving us trouble! Always helpful and kind. Our room was AMAZING and the view was awesome. We loved sitting out one afternoon on the balcony day drinking and even hand fed the beautiful birds. It was magic ❤️. The beach was GORGEOUS! We were a short walk from our favorite beach chairs. The beautiful ocean was perfect for taking a dip in and out through the day. We met a very cool honeymooner couple (Katja and David!) from Germany who were awesome and we snorkeled off the beach with them and it was a lot of fun. The infinity pool was fantastic. Beautiful, clean and the best place for viewing the magnificent sunsets every day. The Hibiscus Bar was a perfect place to get late afternoon and evening drinks (even morning coffee!) and all the bartenders were so nice and polite and professional yet fun and personable too! Special shout out to Vishal, Berlando,, Ayushi and Kennedy!! They were fantastic and they all deserve to be recognized. Also Matthieu, a kind very nice staff member who was the first person we met upon checking in and set the tone for the absolute best vacation we’ve ever had!!! I wish I could remember others names to mention but honestly everyone was great. Lastly, the food was really amazing. The buffet was really very very nice for both breakfast and dinner. And the Mediterranean resultant Colliqualege (misspelled but close) was great too and all the servers there were great! Travelling so far to this beautiful special island and staying at the Hilton is something we will always remember and cherish but it will not be the last time! It’s absolutely worth the distance!!

An unforgettable experience
I spent a very pleasant three days at the Hilton Hotel. I held my wedding here. The staff here were very friendly and responsible. They helped me very enthusiastically, especially Shaina. She was very kind and gave us a lot of help. I am very grateful to her.
Relaxing gateaway
Perfect couples’ de-stressing massage! The masseuses were incredible, and we had such a relaxing experience enjoying the sauna and hammam.
We will definitely be coming back!
Exceptional Hotel and Staff
This is the best Hilton I’ve stayed in (visited 10+ globally). Driven by attentiveness of staff and high quality, well invested beach-side facilities.
The General Manager (Eva) makes herself available to tackle issues personally and was visible on several occasions. We had minor issues which were quickly corrected. I think any issues raised in other reviews may have come from not actually asking the team to fix. If the team know, I’m confident that they would resolve.
We were half board and the food is high quality with good optionally. We were vegetarian and the chefs were happy to adapt and accommodate.
There is daily afternoon and evening entertainment (live singing / bands) and it’s high quality. Rooms are modern and overall estate is luxurious. Can walk straight onto the beach which has white sand and crystal clear waters.
Shout out to Chef Vassu, Ankit and Praveen in the Indian restaurant. Stephanie Bess in the buffet restaurant. Mackenzi at the bar who was always smiling. And our housekeeper Maryline who was exceptional.

Disappointing Birthday dinner
We went there for a 70th birthday dinner and mentioned it before on phone. We had some drinks before and were not even served some Snacks because of supposedly short supply. Afterwards we went to Dinner and once seated, the barman ran behind us to pay the bill instead of asking us to pay at the bar directly. Diner was quite good but Overall experience and Service was very poor. We did not even have a spécial attention for the Birthday. Very disappointing for a supposedly five Star Resort and definitely not Going back again.
