Wonderful 7-day stay for a family wedding
We visited RIU Turquoise for a wedding and stayed for 7 days, with a large group of family and friends all at the resort together. We had such a lovely experience from start to finish and really enjoyed our time there.
From the moment we arrived, the reception staff were welcoming, informative and helpful. The gentleman who assisted with our bags was also incredibly friendly and made arrival really easy. Throughout the week, the staff across the restaurants and bars were consistently kind, attentive and accommodating, which made such a difference when travelling as a big group.
The cleaning staff were also fantastic. Our room was always kept clean and comfortable, and everything was consistently well looked after throughout our stay.
A very special shout-out to Rakesh at the Lagoon Bar. He was absolutely fantastic throughout our stay, always friendly, welcoming and attentive, and he really went out of his way to make sure we were looked after. He definitely stood out and added something extra to the experience for us.
The rooms were comfortable and more than suitable for a week-long stay. We also really appreciated the 24-hour Sports Bar, especially having food available at any time, which was such a convenient extra.
The resort worked so well for a wedding group and we made some really special memories there. We had a wonderful 7 days and would happily recommend RIU Turquoise to anyone visiting Mauritius.

Jahmel and Yash were so amazing!!! Very entertaining and friendly ! I would actually visit RIU Mauritius because of then. My husband and I had the best time with them!

Amazing weekend
Had an amazing time at Riu Turquoise. The welcoming was very good , the lady at the reception was helpful and gave us informations about the hotel once check in has been done. The food was excellent , great variety of choices for lunch and dinners but it was quite repetitive as we spent two nights there. Rakesh & Leonardo were amazing at the pool bar. Really excellent customer service from them . Room was good , but not great view as we were in front of the lobby. Room was very clean , and as we were there to celebrate our wedding anniversary and my husband's birthday we were offered a nice bottle of sparking wine upon arrival and a beautiful decoration on our bed .
The only negative part , was that there was not much animation during the day at the pool bar as it used to be in the past . The aqua gym should have been done at the pool bar like it used to be before .
But in overall it was an amazing get away and will definitely be back

It’s obvious there’s no manager here. The staff are just standing around doing nothing, while customers have nowhere to sit—even though at least half the tables are empty, they’re dirty and haven't been cleared after the previous diners finished over 30 minutes ago, leaving the food to be scattered by birds.
