Set in a lush oasis of palm trees, La Pirogue looks like a Mauritian fishing village. The distinctive cone-shaped, thatched roofs are clustered around the seashore at the edge of lush vegetation. This isn't a fishing village of course - it's an incredible 4 star hotel - and there's plenty of wonderfully fresh fish on offer in the superb restaurants.

You'll never be short of things to do at La Pirogue. The vast swimming pool is an absolute delight. Impeccably designed and fringed by palms, it is one of the hotel's biggest attractions.
The restaurants are high up that list too. From the beach bar to the main restaurant, the chefs and bartenders at La Pirogue work hard to give you a mouth-watering selection of food and drink. You'll enjoy lots of fresh ingredients and a great range of flavours. (And for even more choice, three additional restaurants are available to guests at the Sugar Beach Hotel.)
La Pirogue is well equipped for sports and fitness fans. Naturally, water sports are popular - and there are lots of opportunities for you to enjoy the wonderfully clean, warm water, whether you're a novice or a pro-scuba diver.
You can enjoy games from mini golf to volleyball - and there's a full fitness centre on site. We also recommend the spa - an essential ingredient of a truly relaxing Mauritius holiday.
One final but very important factor is your room. All Standard Garden View rooms (from August 2017 Garden Bungalows) are at ground level, with terraces leading straight out into the beautiful palm groves. There is full air conditioning and additional amenities include satellite TV, telephone, hairdryer, safe, mini bar and drinks making facilities. Room upgrades such as Beach Pavilions are also available at a supplement.
You'll never tire of the sight of that perfect white sandy beach, or the deep blue sea; La Pirogue really does enjoy a perfect secluded spot on the West coast of Mauritius.

Excellent stay at la Pirogue mauritius
We had a fantastic time at La Pirogue. From the beautiful setting to the warm Mauritian hospitality, everything contributed to a very pleasant and relaxing stay.
I would especially like to thank Mr. Augun and Mr. Sachin for their exceptional service. Both were very welcoming, helpful and attentive throughout our stay. Their friendly attitude and professionalism really stood out and made us feel well looked after.
Thank you to the whole team at La Pirogue for the wonderful experience, and a special appreciation to Mr. Augun and Mr. Sachin for their great service. We will definitely keep this stay as a lovely memory and hope to visit again!

We had a wonderful stay at La Pirogue Mauritius and truly enjoyed the beautiful surroundings, welcoming atmosphere, and excellent service.
A special thank you to Mr. Augun and Mr. Sachin for their outstanding service and hospitality. They were both extremely kind, attentive, and always ready to assist with a smile. Their professionalism and genuine care made our stay even more enjoyable.
It is the little details and the warm service from people like Mr. Augun and Mr. Sachin that make a hotel experience truly special. We sincerely appreciate everything they did for us and would be happy to return to La Pirogue again.
Honeymoon at La Pirogue
Our stay was all in all very good. The food was excellent with daily changing buffet. We were able to sleep very well, it was quiet at night. The beach is a dream. Problems that arose were solved immediately by the reception. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We would come back.

Fantastic resort with fantastic restaurants
We had a fantastic dinner at Le Morne Restaurant here. The Team (Daavinen, Hang an Leanne) was very attentive and made this dinner perfect for us.

A wonderful day at la Pirogue. Room was clean,comfortable and well maintained .Food was delicious and a lot of varieties.Staff were very friendly and helpful.I really enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere and the good service.
