Grand Old Colombo
Very welcoming and helpful staff made for a pleasant stay (Belinda Ivoni worked particularly hard). This grand old colonial style hotel is superbly situated on the sea front with great waterside facilities. The rooms however, despite being well appointed are showing their age and need an upgrade. If you want a taste of colonial splendour this is the hotel to choose; if, however, you want more modern luxury, I would suggest a more modern hotel.
unforgettable dinner at mambo
Last Time i just went galle face hotel to had my dinner . and i went to king of the mambo . that is soo cham and such a beautiful place . foods are very good my favourite gose to cream falan and the grill prawns . and also the service 10 out of 100 i can gave for it .specially thank goes to thilakshani for the special service .
Hotel visit
I had a wonderful visit to the hotel, made even more special by Sajeevan Mahesan, the Guest Service Supervisor. He went above and beyond by taking me on a fascinating tour of the hotel's history and making me feel genuinely welcomed. He also kindly offered me a milkshake and fries, which was a thoughtful and heart-touching gesture. His professionalism, friendliness, and genuine care for guests truly stood out. My Family recently visited the hotel around 7:30 p.m. to meet two Indian friends who had stayed there for two nights. We spent some time in the outdoor garden facing the sea. It was a very peaceful place to sit, listen to the waves, enjoy the cool sea breeze, and relax. My friends were very happy with their stay. They especially liked the excellent location, delicious food, friendly staff, and the great service they received. My friend was celebrating her birthday that day, so I wanted to give her a surprise. I asked the Guest Relation Executive, Ms. Ivoni Samanmali, for her help. She was very kind, friendly, and helpful. Because of her support, my friend had a wonderful birthday celebration that she will always remember. A big thank you to Ms. Ivoni Samanmali for her kindness and support. I highly recommend staying at Galle Face Hotel. It is a great place to relax, enjoy Sri Lankan hospitality, and make happy memories.
Lovely restaurant
Delicious food and a gorgeous setting right by the sea. Wonderful. Can highly recommend. The margaritas were great too. Thilakshani,amitha And Nuwan were wonderful. Very friendly.
