Breathtaking sunsets and Pure relaxation
With beautiful views and amazing service Anantara Kalutara is a paradise by the beach! Yummy food and the super friendly staff of Anantara make you feel relaxed and royal and take care of you giving attention to every small details.

A Place with Its Own Personality and Positive Energy
I went there with my 7-year-old daughter and my wife this Aug 2026, and I must say that this place has its own luxurious experience and unique personality.
You can truly find a tranquil and peaceful experience here. We left the resort feeling refreshed and energized, and my daughter was especially happy with the experience. She is already asking when we can come back again!
Even a few days after our stay, my wife mentioned how much she appreciated the positive energy and atmosphere of the place.
The pool was clean, the beach was beautiful and well maintained, and the food was excellent. I especially enjoyed the breakfast , it was definitely my favorite part of the dining experience.
I believe much of this comes from the magnificent staff and their incredible teamwork. Everyone we interacted with was warm, welcoming, and professional.
I can honestly say that this place has its own identity and personality, and I believe that is largely because of this wonderful team. They are what makes the experience truly special.

Outstanding Family Stay & Exceptional Hospitality! My family and I stayed in Room 303 at Anantra on September 29th, and it was a wonderful experience from start to finish. The location is gorgeous, and the room was very comfortable for us and our baby. The food was fresh, delicious, and full of variety. A special note of appreciation goes to the team at Olu Restaurant—Tharindu, Sasupun, Iran, Haritha, and Navanjana. They were exceptionally friendly, attentive, and so helpful with our family and baby, which made our dining experiences truly stress-free and enjoyable. Overall, top-notch service and family-friendly hospitality.

Exceptional Food
We were there on a “Day Outing” package.. the food was absolutely amazing comparable to Anatara Tangalle. Though the buffet was not functional the day we visited, the set menu option did not dissapoint. Quality of food was great. Shashini was a great help organising the location was friendly, helpful and clear with her communication. The hotel was clean and with multiple areas to spend time at. Rooms were large and well maintained.
