Our stay at Taj Green Cove Resort & Spa, Kovalam was nothing short of magical from the moment we arrived.
Ambience & Scenic Beauty - The property is nestled amidst lush greenery with breathtaking coastal landscapes. The views from our room were stunning—waking up to the serene ocean breeze and panoramic vistas made every morning special. The private beach area is pristine, peaceful, and the perfect spot to unwind while watching the waves crash against the shore. Warm & Welcoming Hospitality What truly sets this resort apart is its people. Every team member we encountered greeted us with genuine warmth, traditional Taj hospitality, and prompt service that made us feel right at home.
Exceptional Dining & A Special Mention for Chef Harish Rawat - The culinary experience was easily one of the highlights of our entire trip. The restaurant team was attentive, courteous, and always eager to ensure we had everything we needed. A very special mention goes to Chef Harish Rawat, whose incredible hospitality made our dining experiences truly memorable. He personally took the time to welcome us, checked in regularly for feedback on our meals, and went above and beyond to cater to our tastes. The thoughtful touch of a complimentary dessert cake reflected how deeply Taj values creating unique, personalized moments for its guests.
Final Verdict - If you are planning a trip to Kovalam, this resort is an absolute must-visit. We will definitely return to Taj Kovalam—especially to experience Chef Harish Rawat’s exquisite food and heartfelt hospitality once again!
A piece of paradise
We had a wonderful breakfast experience at the Jasmine @Taj Kovalam, and a special mention has to go to Sous Chef Harish Rawat for his excellent hospitality and attention to detail.
The breakfast spread was truly impressive, with a fantastic variety of Indian, Mediterranean and Continental options. Everything was fresh, well presented and delicious. The pancakes were especially good — perfectly prepared and a real highlight of the breakfast.
Chef Harish was warm, courteous and genuinely passionate about ensuring that guests had a memorable dining experience. His personal attention and friendly nature made the morning even more special.
A big thank you to Chef Harish and the entire team at Taj Kovalam for such a lovely breakfast experience. Excellent food, wonderful service and genuine Indian hospitality at its best.
He deserves another star on his collar (might as well be a Michelin)

A must visit place
The Taj hospitality was fully in display at this resort. The staff were proactive nd helpful in every step of the process. Duty managers shiva and Sebastian were outstanding in the attention they paid to the minutest detail. A special recognition to the amazing chef Har Singh Rawat for the excellent quality of food and the personal attention paid to every individual guest. The operations head Varun Vijay is doing a stellar job in maintaining and managing this dated property. Overall this is a gem in Taj kitty.
Good experience
We stayed at Taj Kovalam with our family last week and had a wonderful experience. We really enjoyed the authentic local Kerala food, especially the Mini Sadhya recommended by Sous Chef Harish Rawat. The traditional meal served on a banana leaf at lunchtime was amazing, with so many delicious dishes. I can still remember the experience! The breakfast was also excellent, with a great combination of local Kerala and North Indian food. A special thanks to Jesinta at the Host Desk for being very helpful and welcoming throughout our stay. Also, thanks to Chef Nidhika for the delicious omelette and dosa. Overall, it was a memorable family stay with wonderful food and excellent hospitality. Thank you to the entire team!

Our recent stay at this hotel was absolutely wonderful from start to finish. Every detail, from the welcoming atmosphere to the pristine amenities, exceeded our expectations
