I’d like to sincerely thank Dinesh for his kindness and generosity during our recent congress at Sofitel Abu Dhabi Corniche. He was incredibly welcoming and accommodating, especially when we were looking for gluten-free food options. He immediately took the initiative to make sure suitable options were available for us.

A nice hotel but needs maintenance
We were upgraded because of our membership status. The safe was broken and it was replaced. The toilet seat was loose and the plug in the bathtub was broken. They were fixed during our stay. The plug in the bathroom sink was broken but it was not fixed. We empathize with hotels and their staff doing it tough during this period of war, but the property needs to be maintained. The skyline bar was closed. The executive lounge was not open, but alternative venues were provided for the breakfast, all day snacks and then the evening happy hour and canapes. We sat at the same table for the evening happy hour for 3 nights in a row and the table had not been wiped cleaned. On the fourth night it was cleaned. The piped music throughout the public spaces was far too loud (even the pool deck). We were so happy to retreat to our room to avoid the noise pollution. It could be a nice property, but we wouldn’t return, it is too noisy for our liking.

Great experience
Our tour guide Sari Hassan took us to Sofitel Abu Dhabi Corniche for lunch on a day trip around town. Excellent service, quiet ambience and amazing food. Highly recommend. Looking forward to our next trip.
