Family hotel
This was definitely a family oriented hotel, with a great family room. The kids loved the water park. It was very safe with lots of lifeguards. The food area could get quite crowded, but there were lots of options to eat. For a la Carte in the evening, you have to reserve. The evening buffet was very good and breakfast was okay. There were plenty of options and a kids station, but there was nothing special. It looked as if they were trying to please everyone. The gym was basic and the spa was fabulous. I had a mother daughter package. My daughter almost feel asleep during the massage by Oil, and my massage by Chang a was amazing. She is very talented. I had hurt my neck in the morning by not sleeping in the right position. In the 30 minute massage, she fixed my neck. I can't believe I can move it today. Overall, it is a good hotel with nice staff, fabulous Thai massages, and a safe water park, though it is quite crowded during holidays and the food is nothing special.

Great staff, food and management need work
Management needs to get its act together towards messaging. Staff did a fabulous job. Kids had a great time at the water park. Life guards were fantastic. Oil at the spa was an amazing masseuse!! Rooms were nice. Food was a solid B, but not a B+.
Management needs to straighten out their communication on the differences between package deals, and clearly communicate that you can't put fod or drink on yiur room without a package. This was very frustrating. Rooms were clean and wel designed.

Great experience for the whole family
Our children loved our stay at Centara Mirage! There were plenty of family activities to enjoy all day. The resort was perfectly suite for our four children ages 5 to 12. The family rooms are not large but management provided an extra bed that worked well for us. We booked the half board with access to the Family lounge and enjoyed complementary breakfast and dinner at three different on-site, restaurants, while taking our complementary lunch at the family lounge. The hotel is about 25 minutes by taxi from downtown, and outside of the resort there is not much that is within walking distance. Really excellent customer service. Absolutely want to give honorable mention to David, who took wonderful care of our family and provided exceptional service in the family lounge.
Great Family Hotel, but Service Needs Improvement
It is one of the best family-friendly hotels in the area, and overall, it offers a very pleasant experience. However, I do have a few comments regarding the service.
The check-in process took more than an hour and a half, during which we had to remain standing and waiting, which was quite frustrating.
In addition, when I requested extra bath towels, it took more than an hour for them to be delivered. Since our reservation was made in advance for a family of four, I believe the room should have been adequately prepared with enough towels and amenities for all family members.
These delays were quite disappointing and made the experience less comfortable than expected. I hope the hotel management will take these points into consideration, as improving the check-in process and response time would make the overall experience much better.
