Grand Hyatt Dubai

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at the Grand Hyatt Dubai, and what really made our experience so special was the incredible level of care, kindness and hospitality shown by the staff.

A particularly heartfelt thank you must go to the security team. During our stay, our young daughter became separated from us in the water park area. It was an incredibly worrying moment for us as parents, but the security staff were absolutely fantastic. They stayed with her, reassured her, kept her safe and looked after her so well until we were reunited. We cannot thank them enough for their professionalism, kindness and genuine concern. Knowing that our children were in such caring and capable hands meant more to us than we can express.

The service throughout the hotel was equally exceptional. A huge thank you to all the staff at The Market Café, who were consistently warm, welcoming and attentive. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble, and they were especially lovely with our children.

We would also like to give a very special mention to the wonderful Faiz, Akshat, Sonu, Hayoon, Obaid, Elgan and Harish. Each of you helped make our stay memorable. Your friendliness, attentiveness and excellent service made us feel genuinely looked after rather than simply being hotel guests.

The Grand Hyatt Dubai is a beautiful hotel, but it is the people who truly make it exceptional. From the restaurants and Club Lounge to the security team, we experienced outstanding hospitality throughout our stay.

We travelled as a family, and the way our children were treated made such a difference to our holiday. We left with some wonderful memories and enormous appreciation for the team.

I wanted to take the time to write a proper review because our experience at Grand Hyatt was genuinely exceptional.

I’ve stayed at properties in Jumeirah multiple times over the last year, so I’ve become quite familiar with the level of hospitality and customer service you can expect from some of the leading hotels in Dubai. This was my first time staying at Grand Hyatt, and I honestly wasn’t expecting to be as impressed as I was. After this stay, I can confidently say that the level of customer service at Grand Hyatt is above what I have experienced at Jumeirah Beach Hotel (JBH).

From the moment we arrived, the service was excellent. The valet team were fantastic welcoming, professional, efficient, and genuinely friendly. They created a great first impression and made us feel looked after from the moment we pulled up to the hotel. It’s often the small details at arrival that set the tone for an entire stay, and the Grand Hyatt team got it absolutely right.

The same level of service continued throughout our stay. The housekeeping and cleaning team deserve a huge amount of credit as well. They were incredibly attentive, polite, and consistently made sure everything was taken care of. You could tell that the staff weren’t simply going through the motions; there was a genuine effort to make sure guests were comfortable and happy.

However, I have to give a very special and personal mention to Rajeev from the kitchen management team, because he really stood out and deserves recognition.

Rajeev went above and beyond for us. What impressed me most wasn’t simply the service he provided, but the genuine care and personal attention he showed. He took the time to understand what we needed, made sure everything was handled properly, and went out of his way to make our experience better. That kind of service is becoming increasingly rare.

Rajeev is a perfect example of what exceptional hospitality should look like. He didn’t make us feel like we were just another room number or another guest passing through the hotel. He made us feel genuinely valued. His attitude, professionalism, warmth, and willingness to help made a real difference to our stay.

There were several moments where Rajeev could easily have just done what was required and moved on, but instead, he took ownership and made the extra effort. That is exactly the kind of attention to detail and genuine hospitality that guests remember long after they leave the hotel.

I also want to emphasise that Rajeev’s attitude reflects extremely well on the Grand Hyatt team and its management. Employees like him are a huge asset to a hotel. You can have a beautiful property and excellent facilities, but it is ultimately the people who make a hotel experience memorable and Rajeev absolutely did that for us.

Overall, every department we interacted with gave us a very positive impression, from the valet team to housekeeping and the kitchen team. The staff were consistently friendly, professional, attentive, and willing to help.

Having stayed in Jumeirah properties multiple times over the past year, I feel I have a good basis for comparison, and I can genuinely say that Grand Hyatt has set a new benchmark for me when it comes to customer service. In particular, the personal attention and willingness to go the extra mile really stood out.

And once again, a massive thank you to Rajeev. His effort, kindness, professionalism, and genuine care deserve to be recognised. I hope the management at Grand Hyatt knows what a valuable member of the team they have in him.

This was our first stay at Grand Hyatt, but based on the experience we had, it certainly won’t be our last.
