Worst experience ever – ruined our family staycation
Having stayed at many hotels across Dubai, this was by far our worst experience, and we felt completely misled and scammed. We booked two interconnecting rooms through Agoda under a promotion that explicitly included confirmed early check-in from 10:00 AM and late check-out until 3:00 PM.
The service from start to finish was terrible:
Check-in Delays: Upon arrival at 10:15 PM, we were kept waiting for 45 minutes before being allowed into our room. We let it pass at the time, but the service only got worse.
Hostile Service: The next day at 12:30 PM, a receptionist named Ilham called our room in a blunt, aggressive manner demanding that we vacate immediately, claiming we had exceeded our stay.
Blaming the Guest: When we went down to clarify, Ilham is not listening the customer's side and refused to take ownership and blamed to the customer the system issue between Agoda and Hyatt. To make matters worse, she repeatedly blamed me, claiming I didn't understand my rights as a customer and insisting we had to "request" late check-out first—even though it was a confirmed benefit of our booking.
Disagreements between the hotel and a booking platform should never be passed on to guests, nor should staff argue with paying customers. Rather than a relaxing family trip, our stay was completely ruined by her hostile behavior. I strongly advise others to avoid this hotel.
Great experience
The ambiance is so amazing, customer service super nice since rhe time we arrive, staffs are accommodating. Amazing breakfast ,you can choose light and heavy one. Thanks to Lubhanshi for the hot chocolate. Over all staffs during our stay was awesome.
