Great family holiday
Check in was easy as I completed it on the app so when we arrived it was smooth and quick. I asked to change room as we were on the 6th Floor with a little spiderman 3 year old and I didnt feel comfortable with the balcony and how high up we were. We got moved to the 1st floor which was perfect and a bonus sea view. Only issue i feel with the room was it constantly smelt damp. The bedding felt damp too and all our clothes. It was the same in both rooms.
Buffet was great. Food for everyone and a range of all different cuisines. Even my 3 year old who is quite fussy with what he eats ate daily with no issues. We loved the Lebanese restaurant but spices restaurant topped it. The food in there was so good!! I just felt that kids were able to run around, load their plates like volcanoes and even saw some lick the spoon with the sprinkles on for the ice cream and put it back in the sprinkles. Needless to say none of us had sprinkles again.
Drinks were ok. Branded spirits so can't complain. Iced coffee with caramel or vanilla was perfect for a cold drink too.
Beach was perfect. The water felt like a hot tub but was a nice change to the pool. We went to the pool near the waterpark and enjoyed it as it had steps in and wasn't too deep for the little one. Waterpark was ok, nothing to shout about. It was open Monday though.
Evening entertainment wasn't great but then we aren't too fussed with it. Evening snacks were sandwiches, fresh fruit, chicken or beef patty burgers.
We went down to Dubai mall, Jumeriah and Souk Medinat. There are taxi's outside the hotel, so jumped in one of them. Got dropped off at the Gold Souk metro station (20aed max) then jumped on the metro to the mall. We done this a few times and enjoyed it.

Best hotel for families with children
Stayed here with family. Nice hotel with big rooms. Diner and breakfast buffet were amazing! The hotel was packed but staff still managed to cater for everyone’s needs. There’s two pools and both were full to the brim with both adults and children. All in ll we had a great time and enjoyed ourselves.

Fantastic Family Holiday
Fantastic holiday with exceptional service throughout our stay at the RIU. The hotel was impeccably clean, and every member of staff was friendly, attentive, and always willing to help. A special mention goes to Arshat and Sureshi in the restaurant, who consistently provided outstanding service and made every meal a pleasure. Their professionalism, warmth, and attention to detail truly enhanced our experience. We would highly recommend this hotel and look forward to returning in the future.

If you are Entertainment for Adults this is not the Resort.
I have visited other RIU resorts. There was entertainment for adults all night, pools were open all night and food was available. This hotel was more family oriented, and catered more to minor children. Eating was closed down at 10pm with minor coleslaw sandwiches available. Pools closed at 7pm. Being that we did not have any children, and not much for adults, we wish we would have stayed at a different place. Customer service at the resort was amazing across the board.
