The Local Area
The hotel sits at the end of JBR with a private sandy beach and views across the Arabian Gulf. Dubai Marina is only a few minutes’ walk away, offering waterside dining and leisure facilities. We had an absolutely wonderful experience at Al Habtoor Grand Resort, and our stay from start to finish has been truly exceptional.
A special mention must go to Hossam and Ahmed in the Club Lounge, who were absolutely brilliant. From morning until night, their service was impeccable. They went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable, well looked after and had everything we needed. Both were incredibly friendly, welcoming and always happy to have a conversation, answer our questions and offer helpful suggestions. They are a real credit to the hotel.
The Club Lounge itself is beautifully decorated, with a sophisticated and elegant ambience that oozes first-class service. It was the perfect place to relax and unwind.
We’d also like to give a special mention to Matti in the Polo Bar, who made us some fabulous cocktails throughout our stay. He always greeted us with such upbeat, positive energy and his service was brilliant. His friendly personality really added to our evenings and made us feel so welcome.
In fact, all of the hotel and spa staff have been brilliant from start to finish. Everyone has been friendly, attentive and welcoming, creating a genuinely relaxing experience throughout our stay. The rooms and all of the facilities are definitely five-star and have exceeded our expectations.
There are some building works taking place close to the hotel, which some may consider a bit of an eyesore. However, this really didn’t bother us during our stay. The fabulous views across the marina and towards the Palm more than made up for it, and we still found the surroundings beautiful.
For what we were looking for — a couples’ holiday away to recharge, relax and reconnect — this hotel has absolutely ticked all the boxes. Even the Dubai heat and humidity couldn’t take away from the experience!
We would happily recommend Al Habtoor Grand Resort to friends and family and would definitely return. A fantastic hotel, wonderful staff and a truly memorable stay. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
