Bachelorette in Cancun!
We had a wonderful experience at Royalton Chic thanks to Gilbert, Samara, Gustavo, Abraham, Oskar, and more. To be honest, we had an awful check in experience. After 6 hours of traveling, we had a 2 hour check in where the manager (cannot remember her name) treated us like dirt. It truly was the worst I’ve ever been treated in my life and it was in the VIP lounge. I could not believe how comfortable she felt treated us so poorly. We decided to not let the actions of her affect our entire trip and just went ahead and paid the extra $600 that they claimed we needed to pay because we “didn’t have the correct number on our reservation” even though I had multiple emails showing the agent Elisa confirming that we had 5 ladies and not 4. HOWEVER….. I am so glad we allowed ourselves to stay and have fun because the rest of the staff made up for it. The butlers, Sam and Gilbert, were some of the friendliest and kind people I’ve ever met. They made sure we were well taken care of for any request. Their communication and care was on point. The front desk could take many notes from them… every time you ask the front desk something, it’s a “no” and they do not try to do anything to help you. We experienced that the entire trip. However, you call Sam and Gilbert? They make ANYthing happen. They always made us feel so special. We truly could not imagine vacation without them. AND our amazing bartender, Gustavo. He is truly so kind and special to us. He treated us like VIPs in the diamond pool and we loved seeing him every day. He and Oskar made us the most amazing espresso martinis and they both always had a smile. Gustavo is the only bartender who remembered our names and gave us extra personalized service. We waited until he or Oskar came to the bar because no one was as personable as them! And ABRAHAM - oh my goodness. He works so hard. He served us poolside and was running back and forth and back and forth all day but never complained. He has the most kind smile and treated us like royalty! He is sunshine at that place.
The spa was magnificent. We did the 9am early bird deal and it was fabulous. Our massage therapists did wonderful and we loved the hydrotherapy. I did not want to leave! You have to book a treatment, it is totally worth it. The early bird was only $130 USD. Such a steal. The only complaint is that they confused our group as two of us were in one waiting area and told to wait for our friends while our friends were told to wait for us at the pool. After 15 min, we went to the changing room and bumped into one another.
The room cleanliness was good! Rooms are spacious and the view is to die for. Do not pay extra for your view or confirmed room, it’ll work out. I couldn’t believe how lucky we were on the 13th floor with a stunning center water view. I think Erik, the only kind front desk agent, did that for us. He was super sweet and I should mention him even though the others were not. My only room complaint is the shower pressure, but that’s not a huge deal. We did have some brown water so we brushed our teeth with water bottles… it happens.
The Italian restaurant was awesome. Best food of the whole place. The walk up pizza and gelato is a MUST during the day. The steakhouse was okay… the seafood rooftop was inedible, chopstick was okay… we would honestly go to the Italian every day if we re did it lol. The buffet is amazing. The ladies at the omelet bar are killing it! Perfect breakfast every morning.
All in all, we would come back. We wished there was more consistency and integrity at the desk, but the rest of the experience made up for it. For the value, you can’t beat it. We felt extremely safe and really enjoyed such a relaxing experience!
Great time & can’t wait to go back
I had an absolutely amazing time at Royalton CHIC! This was my second visit this year, and once again, the experience did not disappoint. If you’re staying here, I highly recommend upgrading to Diamond Club. It truly takes the experience to another level!
A huge shoutout to our butlers, Arturo and Marisol, who were absolutely phenomenal. They went above and beyond every day to make sure we were taken care of, had everything we needed, and were having a great time. Their service made our stay even more special. We can’t wait to come back again! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We had a great time at Royalton Chic Cancun. We opted for the Diamond Club benefits which made our experience much more enjoyable. Our stay was personally overseen by Iran and Samara all week and we are very grateful for their friendliness and exceptional service. They always walked over when they saw us to check to see how our experience was going. The food and drinks were great; the night activities were fun; and the views from our room was amazing. We also want to thank the front desk and bartenders at the Diamond Club lounge who helped get us settled in. We wish that we would have remembered their names so that we can also personally thank them! Our room was always cleaned on time by the housekeeping staff. Overall, had a great week!

The hotel staff are wonderful they take excellent care of you and this is some of the very best service we have experienced anywhere.
Hunters restaurant For us, Hunters was a real highlight Sergio the manager was first class always remembering us and treating us as if we were the most important people in the restauranr. We also dealt with Carlos, Miguel and Omar all of who were absolutely brilliant. Nothing was too much trouble and honestly they made the experience. I can't say enough about how this is some of the best service we have experienced anywhere we've been. The food was absolutely excellent so much so we decided to eat there almost every night.
Hotel We had a mishap on the first day which resulted in me needing to go to hospital. The staff could not do enough to take care of me from then on. In particular Betzabe was wonderful whenever we spoke to her she seemed genuinely concerned and I would say Royalton are lucky to have her. Finally Kevin the lifeguard tried to help and he seemed like a wonderful guy as well.
If I was being critical I would say the buffet lacked enough variety for dinner but that never really caused us a problem because Hunters was such a gem. Even then we found the breakfast in the buffet to be really good. As other have said the food everywhere was of a good quality.

This was my first time visiting Mexico and traveling completely solo, so I was definitely nervous, but my Diamond Club butlers, Monse and Daniel, made my experience absolutely amazing! ❤️
They were always available when I needed them, guided me through everything, and made my entire stay feel seamless. What really touched me was that they were there until the very last moment, walking me out to my driver and saying goodbye. That meant so much to me and showed how genuinely caring they are.
The entire staff was kind, patient, and welcoming. If you’re booking here, I highly recommend Diamond Club and requesting Monse and Daniel! They truly made my first solo trip to Mexico unforgettable. 🇲🇽❤️
