First-Class Service and Culture at Peacock Alley
My wife and I stopped by Peacock Alley for espresso martinis during our stay, and Sebastian truly made the evening. Not only does he mix an outstanding drink, but his genuine hospitality stood out. He took the time to talk with us about Mexican culture and shared some excellent, in-depth knowledge about tequila that you just won't get from reading a menu. If you’re at the Waldorf Astoria, definitely pull up a chair at Sebastian’s bar—first-class service from a great guy.

An Unforgettable Five-Star Stay at Waldorf Astoria Riviera Maya
I stayed at the Waldorf Astoria Riviera Maya from September 16–21, and my experience was absolutely amazing. From the moment I arrived, the staff provided exceptional five-star service and hospitality throughout my entire stay.
The rooms were spacious, beautifully appointed, and incredibly comfortable. One of my favorite features was the private balcony hot tub—such a wonderful way to relax and unwind. I also appreciated the nightly turndown service, complete with delicious chocolates.
I had breakfast at Chaya every morning and was consistently impressed by the attentive and friendly service. The green juice, grapefruit supreme, and classic Eggs Benedict were some of my favorite dishes.
I also had dinner twice at Malpeque, where I especially enjoyed the avocado tartare with trout roe, grilled octopus, and the complimentary bread. At Ja’o, I dined twice as well, and the Mayan shrimp and octopus tacos were my favorite menu item.
The pool service was another highlight. The staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and always made sure I had everything I needed, including fresh towels and an umbrella. The poolside drinks and smoothies were delicious and made relaxing by the pool even more enjoyable.
Overall, the Waldorf Astoria Riviera Maya exceeded my expectations. The combination of beautiful accommodations, outstanding dining, and genuinely warm and attentive service made for an unforgettable stay. I’m already looking forward to returning on my next trip to Cancun!

Excellent Hotel my wife and I went during the off season there weren't many people so it's nice and quiet. The hotel is clean and have a really good aroma. We got a king ocean view on the fifth floor it was great and the view was amazing. We also did a few activities that was offered the bookmark and tote bag painting. The activity was really fun and relaxing and they were really nice Cinthia and Esperanza did an amazing job teaching us and helping out with our tote bags. The only issue is that those were outside by the pool and it was very hot, probably be better if the activities for those be inside out of the heat or a cooler place. Other than that everything was amazing great service and clean hotel.
