Going “over the hill” under the sun. A birthday milestone trip - amazing!
Our entire trip was planned around a milestone birthday. From start to finish the entire team from the reservations team to our personal concierge Daniel, Nico and Alejandro were just incredible. Our pool side attendants Yasmin and Reyes never let our drinks run empty and kept the food coming. My husband had birthday balloons not once but twice in our room, plenty of sweet treats for his birthday and throughout the week he had birthday acknowledgements at dinner. Our grand class suite was just amazing from the cleanliness to the turn down service at night we are already awaiting a trip back. Fantastic place and wonderful people. Grand Velas is by far the best all inclusive resort for the money. The value for the money is unbeatable in my opinion.

An Exceptional Stay at Grand Velas Riviera Maya – Truly Five-Star Hospitality!
Grand Velas Riviera Maya continues to exceed our expectations! From the incredible hospitality to the outstanding food, impeccable service, and spectacular cleanliness, every detail is thoughtfully taken care of. What truly makes this resort special, however, is the amazing people who go above and beyond to make every stay unforgettable.
A special thank you to Michael and Luz at the poolside, who took such amazing care of us throughout our stay. Their attentiveness, warmth, and genuine hospitality made our pool days absolutely wonderful. They were always one step ahead, making sure we had everything we needed while allowing us to completely relax and enjoy ourselves.
Our incredible butlers, Daniel and Alejandro, deserve so much recognition! They anticipated our every need, handled every request effortlessly, and truly went above and beyond to make our family vacation the perfect getaway. Traveling with kids isn’t always easy, but they made everything feel seamless. Their attention to detail, thoughtfulness, and dedication made our stay that much more special.
Amy is truly one of a kind! She is always so full of love, warmth, and genuine kindness. Every interaction with her feels personal, and she has a beautiful way of making guests feel like family. Aaron was equally wonderful—always approachable, welcoming, and available whenever we needed anything. It’s people like Amy and Aaron who make Grand Velas feel like a home away from home.
The food is consistently outstanding, with exceptional quality and variety across the resort’s restaurants. The service is simply flawless, and the cleanliness throughout the entire property is spectacular. Every corner of the resort is beautifully maintained, and the attention to detail never goes unnoticed.
What sets Grand Velas Riviera Maya apart is the consistency of its excellence. It’s not just a beautiful luxury resort; it’s a place where genuine hospitality makes every guest feel special.
Thank you to the entire Grand Velas team, especially Michael, Luz, Daniel, Alejandro, Amy, and Aaron, for making our family getaway so memorable. We always leave with beautiful memories and look forward to returning again and again!
Grand Velas Riviera Maya is truly luxury hospitality at its finest!
Great stay!! I’d return for sure!
Nicolas was amazing! He was so helpful! I had a lot of requirements as a new mom and he was the best at helping me and holding my hand through the process.
