Excellent atmosphere, staff and facilities
Great location, facilities, surroundings, friendly staff, drink and food which is inclusive. The gym in particular is excellent, very big space with separate studios for cardio equipment like spin bikes, friendly staff especially Katia who is very friendly, warm and welcoming while supportive even helped me with questions I had about the local area, highly recommend this resort for a good break and relaxing vacation.

I am here as the guest instructor with Fitness Vacation Exchange at Hyatt Vivid Playa Del Carmen and I can’t thank the resort staff enough for such an amazing stay so far.
From the entertainment team, to the waiters and overall all the staff that makes the day to day experiences happen.
I also specifically want to thank the whole entertainment team (Jose, Aaron, Benjamin, Katia, Aranza and Dulce) for always being attentive to me as a guest instructor and making sure I am doing ok with anything I need.
I also took Katias aqua bike class and it was the best time ever, she was amazing and guided us very well. I had so much fun with her! She’s one of a kind. Love her! Thanks so much for the hospitality always.
Almost afraid to share how wonderful this hotel is!
At the risk of creating a stampede, this hotel (originally the family-owned Royal) is my go-to second home in Mexico when I travel as a medical-dental tourist. I simply cannot imagine staying anywhere else. The staff remember me from previous stays, which is so rare these days. The swimming pools are a great place to meet new people and have tons of fun. The food on this, my 4th visit, had improved, with new, delightful dishes. Adults-only, all-inclusive, located in central Playa del Carmen - what's not to love? Already planning my next stay in Spring 2027!
Great stay and lots of activities
Attended aqua bike hosted by Katie and had a really good time. Was nice to get moving early!
