Incredible experience! Great accommodations, food, and service. Special mention to the amazing bartenders and waiters who made our stay unforgettable: Víctor at The Reserve, Marco at Lemon Fish, Ismael at Hadar, Ángel at reception, and Eddy & Pascual at Fahrenheit. Outstanding service!
Absolutely Amazing Family Holiday at Paradisus Playa del Carmen!
We recently stayed at Paradisus Playa del Carmen as a family of five, travelling all the way from London, and we honestly couldn’t have asked for a better holiday!
From the moment we arrived, everything was fantastic. The hotel was beautiful, clean and incredibly well maintained, with so much to see and do that there was never a dull moment. Our swim-up room was a real highlight and was perfect for relaxing as a family.
A huge special mention has to go to Jonathan, our host, who went absolutely above and beyond throughout our stay. He took care of all our dinner reservations, made everything so easy for us, and even thought of the little things that made such a difference for our children. His attention to detail and genuine care really made our holiday extra special.
We also want to say a massive thank you to Edgar from the kids’ entertainment team. He was so friendly, fun and fantastic with the kids. They absolutely loved seeing him and he really helped make their holiday memorable.
We travelled a long way from London for this trip, and it was worth every mile! We had an amazing time and would 100% return to Paradisus Playa del Carmen. We highly recommend it for families looking for a beautiful resort, fantastic service and plenty to keep everyone entertained.

Playa del Carmen Paradisus Kids Club
Kid club amazing Montse Diana ,Angeles Angela Iris Laura made a great job with our kids they spent a very nice time .
Wonderful stay, our 3rd time back!
This was our 3rd time coming to this resort and that says it all. Service, cleanliness and food was excellent, staff starting to remember us from previous stays and we felt at home, looking forward to a 4th visit soon,
Decent for the off-season
Our family concierge support, Eduardo, went out of his way to make the most of our stay for our three kids, all 7 years old or younger. The kids enjoyed the pools, waterpark, and beach. The kids, however, did not like their Kidsdom program and complained that the staff was mean and on their phones. While the restaurants were only okay, each one had at least one outstanding meal option. We had read reviews about the rooms needing updates, and we agree. The beds were severely outdated, and the air conditioning could not keep up with the heat and humidity, which made sleeping incredibly uncomfortable. They asked about rebooking for next spring and quoted a price 3x what we paid, which definitely would not be worth it.
