AWESOME birthday experience!!!
Our birthday celebration at Grand Residences by Royal Resorts was nothing short of exceptional! From the moment we arrived, we were surrounded by breathtaking views, beautiful accommodations, impeccable service, and an atmosphere that made our celebration truly unforgettable.
The resort provided the perfect setting for our Birthday Extravaganza Girls’ Trip. Our spacious accommodations were elegant, comfortable, and beautifully maintained, giving us the perfect home away from home. Waking up to the gorgeous Caribbean surroundings immediately put us in vacation mode.
What truly made the experience extraordinary was the level of hospitality. Every interaction with the staff was warm, professional, and genuine. We felt welcomed, valued, and well taken care of throughout our stay. The attention to detail—from the pristine surroundings to the dining and resort amenities—made our birthday celebration feel especially luxurious.
The beautiful pool areas, spectacular ocean views, delicious food, relaxing atmosphere, and opportunities to simply enjoy one another's company created memories that we will treasure for years to come. It was the perfect combination of relaxation, celebration, laughter, friendship, and luxury.
Grand Residences exceeded our expectations and provided the perfect backdrop for celebrating another year of life and friendship. This was more than a vacation—it was an experience filled with beautiful moments, unforgettable memories, and plenty of reasons to celebrate.
Another exceptional stay
This was our second stay at Grand Residences and we enjoyed it just as much as the first time. We stayed for a week over the 4th of July and had a great trip.
The resort is beautiful and the service is what really stands out. Jane was our concierge and was always checking in to see if we needed anything. Even arriving at the airport, the driver who picked us up was friendly and welcoming.
One of the things we really like about Grand Residences is how the staff gets to know you. Everyone is always saying hello and many of them remember your name. The pool staff was great. We were especially happy to see Chez again, who took care of us last year. She remembered us and made sure our chairs were set up in the same spot each day. It's unfortunate of the seaweed that comes up to the beach. Massive amounts of they do their best to get rid of it but Mother Nature keeps turning it up.
We also really enjoyed the food throughout the week. At night we would stop at the lobby bar and the bartender there makes an excellent espresso martini!
It was nice coming back for a second time and seeing some familiar faces. We had another great week and would definitely return.

Beautiful Resort with Exceptional Service
We really enjoyed our stay at Grand Residences! The resort was beautiful, clean, and very well maintained. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, and we always felt welcomed. We especially loved the beautiful pools, beach, and relaxing atmosphere. It was the perfect place to spend quality time with our family and make wonderful memories.
Change in management, ruined our vacation
This is my second time and unfortunately will be my last. The last time I was here the service was really 5 stars. from the service, to the food, to the every detail. I learned that the hotel was bought from Holiday inn and it makes total sense. Food was mostly the thing that has suffered the most. Not even close to what it was. Service was decent, but also no where what it use to be. My family experienced a very uncomfortable experience with being pushed to sign up for a sales pitch presentation for a time share sell in exchange for a discount on a tour that was never really a discount to begin with. When we decided to change our minds and not go through with the presentation we were met with conflict, issues, and extra charges that we ended up just taking on. Unless you are already locked into this mess, do not waste your money here. It is no longer what it was before.

This is a beautiful resort - family-friendly but quiet. The food and drinks are good. The service is perfect. The staff is friendly.
The location is outside the busy areas of Cancun and Playa - perfect for the quiet vacation you're looking for. The rooms are beautiful! We had the 2-bedroom - it's huge! Everything is beautifully clean and the value is great!
