Terrible communication and failing to refund after in person approval.
Terrible communication. We cannot get ahold of anyone at the resort. We went in person on August 2nd to cancel our reservation. They were very helpful and approved the refund in person; then, after weeks of no news, both Expedia and I have been trying to contact someone, but they will not answer any phone calls or respond to any attempts to reach them. I am incredibly disappointed because, in person, they were so helpful and reassured us that they were happy to refund the trip, and now we are stuck with a charge for a resort we didn't stay at and no way to reach them.
Do not book at this resort because if anything goes wrong or you need to talk to someone, you cannot reach anyone by phone.
If they contact me after seeing this review, I'd appreciate it, and I would be happy to take this bad review if they can set things right.
