Another fabulous experience at the Barcelo Maya Palace Hotel!
Another fabulous experience at the Barcelo Maya Palace Hotel! This was our fourth time here, and once again, it was absolutely marvelous. My family and I loved all of the restaurants…the food was delicious, and the buffets were truly wonderful and top-notch. The employees are competent and helpful….every single one of them. We can’t wait to go back!
Love Barcelo
We have stayed at the Barcelo complex 3 times. Twice at the palace and once at the maya beach. I don’t think there is a wrong resort to choose. We love the trolley system that connects all of the resorts.
The best snorkeling was in front of the palace. We like the beach in front of the tropical colonial.
The sports bar at the Maya Beach Caribe was fun. The Japanese restaurant was our favorite. We enjoyed the different theme nights at the buffet. It is nice to have a show available every night of the week.
We love the activities by the pool for our teenage kids. Aqua basketball, giant volleyball, and crazy pool games were a hit.
The biggest con for us is that it is about an hour from the airport. Overall, we think it’s worth it for the size of the complex and the beautiful beach.

My family and I went to coral everyday and was greeted by the manager Agenor with a smile. Very welcoming environment and we loved the stay here
Home away from Home
This was the 9th time we stayed at the Barcelo Maya Palace. Most of them where for 2 weeks. People are friendly (some do recognize us). Food is great with a lot of choices. Rooms are clean and comfortable. The landscape is mature and well maintained. Like I said, it's like home away from home !
